Acorn Wood Floors

We had carpet removed and hardwood installed in the dining room, living room, entrance way, hallway and master bedroom. Worked with Ron to choose a product that would be best for our needs. Appreciate Ron's extensive knowledge of hardwood products. Installation took approximately one week and Nathan worked diligently to ensure the installation went without any issues. Nathan was very careful to keep the work area very clean during the installation process. End result is a fabulous looking floor.

Very knowledgeable, nice people. Floor was finished quickly - in two days, though they are busy so lead time was about a month. Quality of the work was quite good - though with a couple minor defects that I suppose you can't really complain about (excess stain near wall in a couple areas 4 inches wide). The floors look really good, though. Only real complaint would probably be that the transition strips were installed when the floor was stained (though the person we initially spoke to, Ron?, said that they would be installed separately *after* the baseboards were in). This meant that we were expected to cut the bottom of the baseboards to fit over the transition strip, which looked odd to us. We eventually had to trim the sides of the transition strip with an oscillating saw and now it looks good (now it looks like all the other transition strips we've ever seen anywhere else, including throughout the rest of the house).

We were delighted with the service we received from Acorn Wood Floors. We had them remove old carpeting, install the new floor in the family room and living room, resand the old hardwood floors in the halls, and stain them to match the new floors. The work was carried out efficiently and skillfully. They did a beautiful job of matching the old with the new floors. We are very pleased.

Removed a built in unit from the Family rm. and therefore the oak floor DID NOT go under this unit. I was referred to Acorn floors, where Ron had to BUILD the boards to match, to PERFECTION!! Amazing job. Could never tell it was not the same .

AF refinished tired mid-70's red oak floors in living and dining room (they look great) - and seamlessly integrated them with new wood flooring they installed in kitchen area. Family-owned co. is knowledgeable, responsive and turns in truly wonderful results.

Did the floors in 2 stages. Was able to complete in a very tight timeline. The new tile looking kitchen floor is outstanding and the hardwood is everything we hoped for. Couldn't be happier. Great people, great workmanship

Our floors were installed by acorn flooring. They had alot of selection to pick from and they were very knowledgable about the products they sold and the competition. Prices were very reasonable and all inclusive. We are very happy with the finished product.

Great service every time from Ron and Val . They went out of their way to get me a special order product and made it as effortless as possible. It is a pleasure to deal with people who know their products and will makes sure you get the right product for your application.

I recently moved, and wanted to replace all of the old carpet. A big job, about 1000 sq ft, but Ron was able to schedule it in fairly short order. The new hardwood looks great, especially in the living room where Ron installed the new floors on a diagonal to match the corner fireplace and undercut the brick to create a nice clean edge. Very happy with the service and the final product!

Just Wow!! Our floors old worn and water damaged and our stairs were slanted and dangerest. We contacted Accorn to get a quote and later tried to cancel. Val the Office Manager convinced us that it was worth having Ron the owner take a look and give an estimate after all it was a free estimate and what did we have to lose. Ron came out told us what he thought and what was needed. Needless to say we were not expecting what we got. Ron and team restored our floor to there original condition and rebuilt our stairs to the building code. We are extremely pleased and glad we did not rip out the floors and replace them.
