I had a fantastic experience with A1!! I had to replace my aging furnace and A1 did the original install 20 years ago (according to the sticker on it) so got a quote from them; they also did my A/C 10 years ago and I was happy with them too.
Paul, the sales rep was excellent- answered all my questions, placed no pressure on me at all and gave me tons of excellent info. Their price was competitive (although not the cheapest) but honestly, their approach gave me a lot of confidence about working with them and actually resulted in me deciding to go with them. When it came time for the install and I met the crew, I knew I had made the right choice. Natalie and Dale showed up to do the installation and were so professional, courteous and efficient. They asked questions to make sure they were doing things right, and went the extra mile- for example moved our thermostat to make it better for us, and installed the exhaust pipes in the least obtrusive way, which based on the tightness of the space, really demonstrated pride of work. They were friendly and lovely in every way. They were patient with my constant questions, and left the furnace room cleaner than when they arrived! They were a true pleasure to work with.
Recently it seemed my furnace stopped working (it was only 2 months old). It was very early on a Saturday morning when I called and a technician showed up within an hour of me calling (after we tried to troubleshoot on the phone). While it wasn't actually a furnace issue (we had inadvertently blocked the exhaust pipes with carboard on the side of the house) the technician was kind and courteous and so fast. The customer service was fantatsic.
I can not say enough positive things about our experience with A1. Not only did we have such a great experience, but our house is so toasty and cozy now and I have the peace of mind knowing if anything goes wrong they will be responsive.
