I have had lifetime contractor work on several projects for me. Kitchen renovation, bathroom renovations, build a porch and most recently a basement renovation. The earlier projects were under the previous management and staff and were wonderful. The most recent (basement renovation) was after the change in ownership. The project suffered because the new owner failed to pay their trades and employees on time. Employees were working on my job without having been paid for over two months! I had to pay for my flooring directly in order to get it to my home after waiting 3 months for the work to proceed. The excellent project manager, Bruce, later quit and all the best employees have since moved on. I am seriously surprised this company is still a going concern. I was contacted by one company threatening to take back the new stairs 4 months after the job was finally completed because they still hadn't been paid for their product. Unbelievable.
The new owners have been running the company since 2014.
Bruce and the last employee was fired for living off company time by inflating hours in December of 2016. Since December 2016 we have not had regular employees for same reason.
This review is fraudulent and we have a pretty good idea who wrote it to damage the company's reputation. These are the same sub contractors who poison home owners minds to take over running contracts. Really low down human beings and one of them takes cash money for work and lives in a shelter. Shame!
Our work has been exemplary except for reviews by competitors jealous of our success. I would impress upon the readers to ignore these negative comments. Success breeds resentment.
I contracted them for Renovation project, estimate was given in a very short time and was rightly priced
Lifetime General Contractor has done an excellent, timely and professional job in renovating and extension of my project
I will highly recommend their name for doing good job
Hello Sir. Thank you for keeping your trust in us. We are here for long run to support you.
We came to an aggrement last year dec for my garage to get done by end of Jan and not done till now(July18, 2018). All the negative comments/reviews about this company here are very true. His workers walk out on the job due for not funding and paying them at the right time. Go look elsewhere if you want your renovation project to be completed.
We messed up this one. We poured concrete in dead of winter and when it settled the surface was uneven. The owner was aware that concrete is going to be poured in winter but they wanted it done when they were on vacation.Thereafter whatever we tried the level could not be achieved. The concrete contractor declined to return and we used a number of unskilled subs to correct the problem but without success.
The owners are right to be upset and we admit our error.
The contractors worked very well, were detail-oriented and achieved a result which met our expectations. All stages of the project were completed efficiently and on time. I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for the positive reviews. Kevin's presence had such a positive impact on our guys morale that they wanted to give their best.
Thank you for recommending us to your friend for their renovation project.
Looking forward to working on her project and yours.
I would never recommend Lifetime Contracting to anyone. The owner Ram Sharma has no regard for how the job gets done or whether or not it gets done in a timely fashion. His main concern is the cheques or and deposits and thats it. He cowers care who he hire to get the job done and in most cases, he never does get the job done. When a [problem arises, he is no where to be found, instead he doesn't and lets his employees try to solve the situation. Yet he expects the cheques to come to him and then pays what he wants and when he wants, which in turn upsets his employees and the job subsequently suffers as a result.
Thank you for the positive reviews. You guys handled every change in a well informed manner and our team was grateful for your professionalism.
Looking forward to working on your next project in near future.
Well After having multiple contracting companies give us quotes for our main floor washroom and kitchen my wife and i felt most confident in giving the contract to the Lifetime team, they took the time to give us various layouts for us to review free of charge which was like a breath of fresh air after the previous contractors required deposits for renderings. they were very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They were a real delight to work with we'll definitely be working with them again i would highly recommend giving A Lifetime contracting a call if you were looking to have work done to your home.
Thanks for the positive reviews guys. We gained friends as well as exemplary customers. Looking forward to working for you again and hoping that you will recommend us to your family and friends for their home renovation needs.
It has been a pleasure getting to know you.
Lifetime was a very professional and efficient renovations company and was a pleasure to work with. The timeline for the reno was met with only 2 minor delay as is expected in most renovations. We were quite pleased and satisfied with their performance and wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend them again
Thank you for the positive reviews. It was a pleasure work on your project. The communication between us was exemplary and it would be an honour to work for you in future.
I had an excellent experience with A lifetime General Contractor,
Reasonable, punctual and they listen to the clients needs and do optimum job, do not go over budget and finish project in time.
Very efficient and professional people
Thank you Sir. It is always a pleasure to work for home owners who understand renovation and pay on time as per contract.
Please check the Better Business Bureau website before engaging this contractor. They are not an accredited BBB company even though their website say they are. The owner and trades are no longer the same. Terminated our contract with them due to many issues with how long it was taking to complete a 30 Sq. Ft. powder room and substandard quality. We ended up having to pay another contractor to finish the job and fix the deficiencies they left behind. We provided most of the materials and on top of that ended up buying new vanity as they damaged this item beyond repair. Their website is misleading as most of the reviews were based on projects completed by the previous team under the former owner.
We had a project manager by the name Bruce who was handling their project but the project went on for too long and we fired him. When this home owner found out they were very upset. Hard to understand. They waited for weeks just to raise some kind of action from Bruce but got very upset when we took two days to organise. Every small delay became too big and their patience grew thin. Eventually they cancelled the contract.
