WOOD AND DEBRIS REMOVAL

JUNK-TWO-GO POURED THE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF MY RENTAL BIN ONTO MY DRIVEWAY AND ONTO OUR SERVICE ROAD FRONTING THE RIVER - THEN DROVE AWAY!

YOU COULD BE THE NEXT VICTIM!

I had the last load of construction debris, MAINLY wood to be cleared out of my home that I am renovating. MODERN did not have a bin available at the required time. I went to KIJIJI and found a company called Junk Two Go. I called them. A man by the name of Tyler answered, he was very courteous. He told me a bunch of numbers. I said, just give me the final figure. He said $325 for a 14 cu. ft bin for 5 days. I agreed and asked if he accepted cash. He said Yes.

The next morning I received a phone call from a "Project manager" for JUNK TWO GO by the name of SHELDON. He said he was on his way to deliver the bin. He went on to ask whether someone would be on site. I cancelled a meeting to meet Sheldon from JUNK TWO GO so I could pay him. I asked if the $325 included HST. He said "$325"? Its total $395 cash and a $250 deposit for renting the bin. I was a bit alarmed at the discrepency of information from one day to the next. Anyway, I said I would not pay a deposit of $250 and that I would just wait until MODERN could deliver. He then went on to say that he would NOT take a deposit from me and that he had already started his journey from Hamilton to Niagara.

As alarmed as I was of the price change, I still agreed to accept delivery of the bin.

I received delivery of the bin on Wednesday, Dec. 01, 2010 at 4:30pm. Paid the gentleman known as Sheldon CASH amounting in the total $395.00. I asked for a receipt and Sheldon told me upon pick up of the bin, I'd be given a receipt. Again, I was alarmed at the fact that he would not document my cash payment of $395 with no balance owing.

I came home at about 5pm that evening and called the company. Tyler answered and I told him I had just taken delivery of the rental bin. I told him I had paid $395 cash and was not given a receipt. Tyler said "hey, ya, I just delivered the bin to you, everything is alright..." I said "but, Sheldon just delivered the bin to me..."

Tyler said, "yes, I am Sheldon, it is my middle name! I am the OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT"
ALARMING!!!!!
TYLER SHELDON (last name i do not know)

Friday Morning, Dec 03, 2010 rolls around, and I receive a call from TYLER SHELDON asking whether I was finished with the bin. $395 paid for a bin rental only to be hurried to finish my 5 day rental. ALARMING!!!!!
He furthers the conversation by stating he does not do pick ups on Sunday and that I would have to pay an extra $20/day. ALARMING!!!!!

Monday, Dec 06, 2010 rolls around (THIS MORNING) and he is onsite to pick up the bin. My guys were there over the weekend doing the clean up. We did not need the bin anymore. "TAKE IT AWAY" I said.

TYLER, SHELDON, whoever was there to pick it up said well, you owe me $250.00. CONFUSED, I asked why? He said, there is some metal and non wood products in the bin. (garbage bags filled with stripped cork flooring) I said, well, I'll send someone out there to pull it out if its going to cost me $250.
Because, that is a lot of money to have a piece of metal disposed of (metal was attached to a piece of wood from a door frame. It was actaually a CORNER BEAD with a little drywall behind it.

He said I had to come pay $250.00 right now OR ELSE...

Well, the "OR ELSE" is in the photos below. The 14 cu.ft BIN was filled
to the top with wood and cork flooring inside the garbage bags. SHELDON POURED THE ENTIRE BINS CONTENTS ONTO MY DRIVEWAY AND ONTO OUR SERVICE ROAD FRONTING THE NIAGARA RIVER.

This is the result of hiring SHEER SHADINESS.

E-mail me any comments or similar experiences you've had with Sheldon, Tyler or anyone else...

Approximate cost of services:
$395.00
