Finer Edge Painting & Improvements

This is the second time we have used Finer Edge and it was a great experience!! The quote from Bill, the colour consultation from Beth, the updates from Luigi and the amazing paint job from the crew - a lot of the walls had to be smoothed out first -was very professional and efficient! We had water leaking from our 2nd floor furnace into our laundry room and main floor dining room. Gord came right away to assess the situation and put an action plan into place that solved and remedied the problem right away and restored everything to its proper state. And, at a fraction of the cost we anticipated. I can't say enough about how professional and thorough Gord is, as well as the crew of drywallers and painters that completed the repair work. We have used Finer Edge many times in the past and will continue to call on them with all our home improvement needs.

Luigi and the Finer Edge team did an amazing job painting our interior doors slate grey. Prior to this project they painted our entire house plus other projects at our old house. We only use Finer Edge as they are professional, respectful of our property, accommodating, and tidy. The team is well organized.

Finer Edge has done several painting projects in my home over the last 10 years, including recently repainting my kitchen cabinetry. They always do an amazing job. The managers and painters are very professional. They are respectful of the homeowners--meaning they do a fantastic job prepping, painting, and cleaning up after every job. Their quotes are fair and the work is top-notch.

A skylight leak in our sunroom meant a new skylight and interior repairs. We expanded the project to include repainting our living room, entry hall, stairway and second floor landing.

We obtained two estimates and chose Finer Edge although it was the higher estimate. We are very pleased to have made that choice. They were professional, courteous, punctual and completed the job on schedule.

A month or more after completion, we noticed what we thought was a large drip. They returned to fix it, no questions asked.

Overall, we are pleased with their work and would use Finer Edge again.

I recently had Finer Edge Painting come in and paint my condo. Gordon was extremely professional and punctual. He met me and gave me an immediate quote, and time estimate. The team came in and did a wonderful job, with absolutely no hiccups or delays. They let me know once the project was finished (I didn't stay in the condo while they were painting) and sent the invoice promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, they came recommended through friends, and I'd be happy to refer them to my friends based on this very positive experience and excellent work they performed.

Upon the advice of my designer friend, I hired Finer Edge to paint my existing stained maple cabinets. My contractor (doing work elsewhere in the house) was skeptical that I could get a decent spray paint job done on my existing cabinets, but I took a leap of faith and am I ever glad I did! They basically turned my kitchen into a hermetically sealed studio, taping absolutely every nook and cranny that was not to be sprayed. There was no overspray and the finish on the cabinets is impeccable. My contractor ended up being very impressed with their work and has made a note of their name for future reference. He has never seen such a good on-site spray paint job. They were fast, worked long hours, cleaned up at the end of every day, were pleasant to have around and are obviously masters of their craft. In terms of management and supervision I dealt mostly with Luigi once the job started and he was very pleasant and accommodating. I have often done my own painting in this house, but painting the cabinets was just too big a job and I decided that spray painting, rather than brush painting, was the best for my purposes, which is way beyond my scope. I am so glad I hired professionals, especially these ones! I am now looking around the house looking at all the paint jobs that maybe I should rethink doing myself and have them do instead :) Thank you for everything, Finer Edge!
