Recommending Southern Comfort Hearth and Home - located in Lindsay, Ontario

My club Coppinwood Golf Club (Uxbridge)just had a fireplace installed by this company.

I cannot say enough about this company, from the initial consultation, quote, installation. Professional all the way, trades work second to none. They also remove the existing unit, cleaned the chimney, cleaning as they worked.
And the Fireplace looks amazing!
Their showroom offers furniture, stunning art work and more.

Had fire serviced on two occasions both resulted in call back when fire failed. Wait time for service call clearly indicates they don't care about the customer after they have made the initial sale. Would not buy a fire from these people again.

Great service from Arlene at Southern Comfort with the inside baffles for our Regency free-standing wood stove - these were covered under warranty, when the store we bought the stove in 2009 was going to charge us $125.00. They were shipped to our home! Appreciate the honesty and fine customer service, I would recommend this store if you are in the market for a wood or gas stove.

Wanted to use a local place to support the area, and I thought it would provide good service. Most happened all right but the after sales service was horrible.

I booked an appointment to clean and service the unit we bought, on its one year anniversary. I booked 6 weeks in advance, called the morning of to confirm - since I booked the day off work - to get a text at 5:16 pm that day. I was texted they can't do the service and I'll have to call back to reschedule.

This is the most inconsiderate service I have ever received.

We bought a full set of (supposedly Decorest furniture) from this store to support a local business. Within a year, we noticed it peeling and today it sits in our basement completely peeled. People who come over are mortified when they see it. The store did nothing NOTHING! It turns out it is made in China but sold as a division of Decorest. Needless to say, we got taken pretty good. Being a small town business supporter I will continue to shop locally but not at this business.

Hearth and Home is a great store that offers and amazing collection of home furnishings. They offer great quality furniture and the sales staff is extremely helpful. The delivery process was very smooth and professional. I would highly recommend this store for great furniture.

Beautiful showroom with furniture too. It's a local company. Installation was good. Good pricing compared to everyone else. Pleasant staff. Propane / gas Regency Fireplace.
