2 year ago i bought a beautiful sectional sofa from the wickes store in vernon hills. 3 months after i purchased the sofa i had a small house warming party. one of my guests sat on the sofa and it caved in. i called wickes service department the next morning and they advised me that they would be sending someone out to look at the sofa. i took the day off of work and the gentleman never showed up. i called again that afternoon to set up another appointment. he showed up for the second appointment, looked at the sofa from the door (he didnt even touch the sofa) and told me that it would have to be replaced. i called customer service again and was told that they no longer made that sectional that i could go into the store and choose a new sectional for equal or lesser value. as i was roaming through the store i noticed the same sectional that i had in the discount area. that sectional had the same damage as the one that i owned. needless to say i didnt find a new sofa, i called a different repaiman to fix my sectional and havent bought another piece of furniture from wickes.
