Ken Arnold was contracted through the buyer of our home to perform a pre-sale inspection. We only lived in the house for 3 years, and virtually nothing had changed in the home. I'm not sure if the new buyers asked him to do a "hatchet job" in an effort to get the price reduced, or whether he is just plain unprofessional, but he came up with a number of "fixes" that he claimed needed to be made - but were completely untrue. In one instance, he claimed there was "significant wood rot" around an entirely METAL frame of a sliding patio door. We had a licensed General Contractor come out and inspect his claims, and the GC refuted nearly every single claim Mr. Arnold/Ahearn made. We'll be filing a complaint with the state regarding his unprofessional approach to his job. Needless to say, Mr. Arnold's actions led directly to the deal being called off.
