This is a duplication of the review I left for this guy on yelp. I can't understand why more of his customers aren't grateful enough to leave him feedback so I'm spreading mine around.
This guy is the definition of customer service. He will trouble shoot over the phone and give helpful advice if he thinks the problem does not require him to actually service the item. He also stocks a wide range of accessories both new and used.

He is soooooooooooo nice... he'll give you an estimate for free and he is way fair in pricing... very inexpensive, actually and does a very good job. I would recommend him to all! I clean homes for a living and bring all my client's vacuums to him.
Redwood Vacuum -I love this place. It's on the corner of Piner and Coffey in Santa Rosa. Good luck. I got two high recommendations for Redwood Vacuum. It was not the closest place that was recommended. There were two other shops closer that were also recommended but the praise for Redwood Vacuum was so high that I called them first. I was on the phone with the man for about five minutes and he explained what he thought might have happened so that I could fix it myself. I checked out what he said and he was right. My vacuum cleaner is not broken. It has an automatic shut off system if it gets clogged. He told me how to unclog it. I asked if there was any maintenance that he recommends for my type of vacuum such as professional cleaning or tune up and he said no and told me how to take care of my vacuum cleaner myself. He spent about 15 minutes total on the phone including the second call when I let him know he was right and asked a lot more questions and he was extremely helpful, courteous, and charged me nothing and made no attempts to get business or money from me. He was happy to help and mentioned himself that he was happy to save me money. Now there are three recommendations for Redwood Vacuum; one more including mine! He also provides services to large janitorial companies including equipment and supplies. He does not do sewing machines.
