Transparency and excellence are not core values at CMS. Poor service and frustrating attempts to gain truthful information have caused many doctors to leave CMS, including their former majority shareholders CCA. Inconsistency in the collection cycle driven by lack of proper resources and antiquated technology are masked by fabricated stories of insurance carrier foul-ups. Foul-ups never experienced by my colleagues' billing companies. Write offs to make believe criteria have replaced hard work and honest reporting. As for me, creativity is not something I was looking for in a billing company. Unfortunately, change is costly and often leaves you in a cash drought but in the end it has been well worth it. So when picking a new billing, choose wisely.
