I would discourage anyone from using Nimbly Appliance Repair Service. My recent experience with Nimbly has crushed any faith I had in the business.

We called Nimbly in February 2024 for a washing machine repair. Dennis, the owner arrived and after inspecting the washer, advised the cost of repair was not worth it due to the age and condition of the unit. This is understandable and not unexpected.

Dennis offered to sell us a scratch-and-dent washer that was the exact same model, but a different colour. We were not concerned about colour, and it was a good option since it was supposedly the same unit - as we were stacking the appliances and were restricted by the space of the laundry closet. As we are conscious of our spending, scratch-and-dent options are a great fit for us. We purchased it on Feb 4 2024.

After looking at the appliance, which had minor cosmetic damage, and again confirming with Dennis that it was the same unit, we agreed to purchase it. We borrowed a friend's truck and transported it home. However, it turns out it was not the same model, and would not fit in the laundry closet.

After agreeing to take the return, Dennis stated again "I swear it was the same model" but then claimed that I had damaged it in transit. He had no "before" pictures of the unit's condition prior to me transporting it, and we took care of the appliance during transport. He advised he would return the cost of the washing machine less the part required for him to repair it.

There was no admission that he sold me the wrong unit, no apology for the inconvenience caused to me by transporting the unit only to discover it could not be used at my home.

Not only that, Dennis sent me an e-transfer with the incorrect amount and still owes me money. Since February 15th, I have sent 4 polite emails asking for an explanation of the amount e-transferred to me) without response. I have also called 4 times calls - 2 of which were answered by staff who took down my info and would return my call - Dennis was unavailable, and never called me back, even when I was told I would get a response by end of day by two different staff.

Essentially Dennis misled us about the unit he sold to us, and has now kept the money that is owed to us.

Our LG washing machine was not draining. After several frustrating calls to the store we purchased it from because it was no longer under warranty, we were recommended to Nimbly's by LG.
They provided very good communication, advised accurate approx pricing ,fast prompt service , all of which allowed us to be back up in running very quickly. The owner, Dennis came himself and quickly assessed and installed our new pump . If anyone is looking for a good honest company these guys are it. Thank you

The company owner - Dennis came to repair our LG dishwasher. He was pleasant to work with, completed the job efficiently and also provided me with helpful tips to keep my appliances in good working order. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely use this service again.

I have a high-end Samsung fridge that developed issues shortly after my extended warranty ended. I contacted Samsung who highly recommended Nimbly Appliance Repair.
When I called in, Josclynn was polite and professional, asked me a few questions and then sent the owner, Dennis, to do the job as he had the most experience with fridges like mine.
Dennis showed up on time, was polite and respectful, and made his best effort to diagnose the issue. I appreciated the fact that the cost of the initial service call was taken off the repair bill when I went ahead with having them do the repair.
In the end, the fridge was not able to be fixed. Dennis was beyond fair in dealing with me and even helped me make a good choice for my next fridge. I will definitely use their services again and will recommend them broadly.
In a time when I'm hearing so many stories about people getting ripped off by appliance repair people, Nimbly stands out as one of the good guys.

Dennis came to repair our refrigerator that was not keeping the proper temperature. He identified the issue & clearly described the options of the repair needed along with their pros & cons. He is courteous & very knowledgeable about his work. His service work area was kept very neat and tidy & he made every effort to keep our floor well protected.
Dennis is very detailed & efficient with his repairs. We found him very trustworthy & we would not hesitate to recommend him for servicing any appliance.
His office assistant, Jocelyn, is also very efficient. She is very understanding & helpful & tries to fit in the service call as soon as possible. She also will call to confirm when the parts are in stock & confirm the appt time.

Samsung gave my info to this company for a microwave handle repair under warranty. Jocelyn was very fast to order the part and call to book an appointment. I said I wanted to wait until lockdown is lifted and Jocelyn said it was not possible as Samsung gives them a timeline. i verified with Samsung to which I was told this is in fact not true. I called Jocelyn back to say I would wait and she told me this was not possible so I asked her to just send the file back to Samsung then and they could refer me to another company. I called Samsung to discuss with them and was told Jocelyn had sent in notes saying I was extremely rude when I’m fact I was simply responding to her the way she spoke to me. Guess she didn’t like it back! Anyhow too bad because it sounds like great honest service but Jocelyn is a little too pushy and rude and I made sure to let Samsung know!

Our water dispenser on fridge hadn’t been working for several years and now the ice maker was jamming up. Called Nimbly Appliance Repair to come take a look. They were knowledgeable and friendly from the first meeting. Provided details on what they assessed to be the problem.. ordered the parts and installed when the parts arrived. Fast, reliable service.. Thank you.. we now have ice and water and didn’t need to purchase new refrigerator
