Young Guns Roofing Ltd

Thanks to Brad and his crew for doing a great job on the new roof this past week. Originally there was a problem with a minor leak on the old one a few weeks ago on a rainy afternoon. One call and he was over there in a hour. At that time we also got around to discussing installing a replacement roof (28 years old and counting). Next day he brought over his sample brochures of shingle styles and colors that were available thru the local distributors. Over the next few days he texted over some photos of some houses which Young Guns had done in the past to illustrate how the various shingle styles and colors would look against different siding and trim. He also gave a few addresses of houses with the various shingle colors so I could go over and see them up close. After a week of heming and hawing I finally made a decision on the style and color of shingle. As luck would have it someone cancelled out a week afterwards and I managed to get the replacement timeslot this past Monday. The crew showed up at 7:00 in the morning and set up quiet as a mouse. They threw down tarps around the house to keep the shrapnel to a minimum.

Then they went to work.

Come 4 P.M and the job was finished. Everything was professionally done without any hitches. Not a stray nail to be seen anywhere. The yard was as clean as before they started work. These guys have my recommendation for sure. Friendly and trustworthy are a couple of
words that come to mind.

Brad and his crew did an incredible job on the new roof of our home. The first day we met with Brad, he came equipped with many different options of roof colour, grade, extra options and even provided photos of the colours from actual jobs they did. On the first day of the job he made sure the ground was covered in tarps and even moved our patio furniture out of the way! The job was completed in under two days so we were not only impressed with the quality but the speed! The site was left spotless, patio furniture moved back to where it was, and not a single roofing nail on the ground. Brad and his crew were professional, quick, and most importantly gave us the roof we could be proud of. We could not thank enough Young Guns Roofing for the incredible job. If you’re looking for a new roof, don’t even think twice, go with Brad! Thank you so much!

Low slope (2/12 pitch) shingle. Gave me all the options during quote with pricing using different grades of shingle. Went with higher end Marklay shingles, ice shield over entire roof, new vents and pulled out old furnace vent. Opened up a few boards near soffit vent, pulled out extra packed insulation before completing South side of roof. Finished a bit early.

Brad and his team are fantastic! They finished our roof very quickly, even with the crazy rain Edmonton has been having. He gave us his honest opinion on what was needed on the day of our home inspection (saying some was fine to leave as is) and installed our new roof the week of our move in.
