I recentrly moved out of a 2-storey home to a condo. I retained the services of First Rate Movers based on recommendations on neighbourhood groups and I was entirely satisfied. The crew were professional, hard working and very polite. Their work showed good coordination with everyone knowing what they had to do. There were no incidents or accidents. I was entirely satisfied with this move and feel I got value for the money. I have no hesitation to recommend First Rate Movers.

First Rate Movers did a fantastic job. No hassle, no surprises. They arrived on time and finished in the estimated time. They took care of all our stuff, especially our glass furniture. Not a single crack! I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Their team team was professional and efficient and took great care of all my belongings. The move was completed on time and within the estimated budget.

Their team made sure they were comfortable during the move, the even prepared a room for them with some basics so they can sit and be safe while the move is being done.

First Rate Movers are Rock Stars!!! The crew (Wes, Andrew, Jessie, Zack, Jake and Aaron) were professional, beyond efficient and extremely cohesive as a team. In under four hours, they loaded 25 years of our lives into two trucks, drove 93 kilometers and unloaded everything into our new home. They took extreme care to wrap every single piece of furniture with moving blankets and disassembled and re-assembled our gym equipment. Their teamwork is so well established that they hardly had to speak about what needed to be done, everyone just started working. They were also very pleasant to deal with and handled the move with humor and grace. I should also mention that Matt coordinated the details of the move with me and was informative and attentive. I knew exactly what was going to be required to do our move and how much is was going to cost. Thank you First Rate Movers for making our transition such a pleasant experience.

I needed to move four heavy pieces of furniture around my home, up and down flights of stairs. I contacted a few moving companies. Some did not even respond (I guess the job was too small) and others quoted what seemed like a ridiculous price. Matt at First Rate Movers answered my call, explained my options, and quoted a reasonable price. The movers he sent arrived on time, moved the items efficiently, and avoided all the walls even in the steep narrow stairwell from the basement to the main floor. If I ever need movers again, or know someone who does, First Rate Movers is getting the call.

Hired to help move large furniture items and was pleasantly surprised with how amazing and efficiently they worked. The two gentlemen that helped with my move were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be using their services for any future moves!

I called Matt and team to move some large shelves that were too heav for me to move into my basement. Just exceptional level of customer service and care. Timely, great follow up and just above and beyond my expectations.

The day of the move turned out to be the first snow of the year, and I was worried it was going to delay everything a lot. But the team anticipated the traffic and left early so the delay was minimal, and once they got to my place, they worked like a well oiled machine!

I couldnt get a box for my TV, so they wrapped it in a lot of blankets. Not a scratch on it or any of the furniture. And they disassembled and reassembled my bed in record time.

If you want your move to be done right, Id say this is for sure the best choice!
