It more difficult the weather did not cooperate and clean up was even more important every day. Our project included two backyard side fences to match an exist fence prior to us moving in and two matching gates. The workmanship was top notch and I highly recommend Lotus for your next project.

We took our time and picked three companies to provide a quote for our project and we made the right choice. Alex and his team were professional from start to finish. Alex listened to what we wanted. We wanted a new interlocking patio, a privacy fence and a pergola. Lotus provided us with a quote detailing the work and when we asked for a change, they quickly accommodated us. It was a wonderful feeling.

When it was time to do the work, Alex's team of three arrived on time everyday and worked continuously even on the hottest of days. They worked together as a team and kept us up to date with the progress. We needed to add interlock and Alex made sure we signed off on any changes first. If we wanted to modify even the slightest thing, Alex and his team made the modification with ease. Everyday as the fence, the pergola and the interlocking were completed we stood in awe, it was better than we could have imagined. The project completed on time was perfect.

We could not wait to enjoy our new patio and all our guests were so impressed and inspired with our new patio.

Irene, Alex and his crew were a pleasure to work with - very professional, timely & responsive. They take pride in what they do, delivering high quality work, cleanliness and listening/adapting to requests on the fly. Our project included rebuilding the wood retaining wall for our front garden, creating an area to enclose our recycling bin and relaying an interlocking stone walkway to re-level. They also accommodated adding on additional stone relaying around our new backyard shed, easily working it into their schedule for a fair cost. We would definitely recommend Lotus and will consider them again for future projects!

This is the second job Lotus has done at our place. Theyre organized, punctual, efficient, and mindful of the site and neighbours.

The job: they demolished and replaced an old deck, fence, and worn out concrete. Finishes and attention to details were excellent. They even accommodated design changes on the fly to ensure we got under deck storage among other things.

Fabulous service, creative solutions when retrofitting, attention to ensuring results are attractive and functional. Love my new deck and fence. Alex and crew took pride in making our simple plan for extended deck and fencing look amazing. Lotus added some architectural interest (look at the extra supports on the top rail supporting the black fence) that really add interest to the design.

Lotus also took on small project for my neighbour. We are both extremely happy. We were admiring the stone work and landscaping again last night again.

We placed our trust in this wife and husband operated company and paid them with our hard earned money only to realize that when you really need them they disappear and do not want to help you with anything or provide you with after sales customer service. Our small deck stairs and privacy wall came down and when we contacted them to help us remove everything that collapsed onto our neighbour's property they refused and gave us the runaround. I explained to them that it was very dangerous to leave the privacy wall that came down in its current position because it could injure our neighbour's children or even us and even with everything that we told him they still refused to send one of the crew members to assist us lift and move away this heavy wall. Seeing that they were not willing to help we called one of our neighbours to help us move the large piece but he just couldnt help us because its too heavy and most likely you need special equipment and more than a few men to lift it but him being an engineer, he commented on the poor workmanship which this deck was built by Lotus Interlocking. We strongly suggest that you do not use this company because all they want to do is take your money and run away. Now we are stuck with the privacy wall where its currently sitting where it can hurt someone. Alex (the husband) is a nice person and we dealt with him and decided to give the job to their company because we liked him at that time. But then his wife Irene got involved and it was very difficult to deal with her at the time they did the job. Now we are stuck dealing with her, shes very rude and arrogant and not helpful and we have asked her for help shes like a filter for Alex so its very hard to deal with people like that when it comes to business. Had we know we were going to be dealing with Irene for the rest of the project we would not have awarded the business to them.

This Lotus Interlocking company was hired based on the trust we put in them to do a good job putting a deck together, however this is not the case. I'll start by mentioning the screws used to hold the 2x4 together are too small to hold so much weight.
The wood bought by them as per the contract is the cheapest used, cracked on all angles. This was not a cash deal therefore the material bought by them does not reflect the cost paid.
The lattice placed as a privacy wall has fallen on the fence shared with our neighbour potentially injuring someone because now that it has fallen, we realized that is was never secured to the wall.
Irene has been notified and has NOT have the decency to come and take down the bad job they have done.
We need this taken down immediately before it falls down on someone creating life threatening injuries.

I was referred to Alex from my good friend of mine, after seeing how good of a job he had done on my friend's backyard. Alex & his crew came over and completely changed my backyard into a stunning project. I couldn't be more happy with the results! The amount of care, thoughtfulness and hard work that went into this project was like nothing I had ever seen from a contractor before. I couldn't recommend Alex more! Alex and Irene (and all of their workers) were fabulous! They helped with design, planning and implementation. Job was done on time and on budget. We encountered some issues during the job but they were creative in fixing all of them. Could not be happier.

Alex and his crew of three, completed the new front door walkway, landing, path and garden box, completely to our satisfaction. Totally professional in their work habits and in their expertise. We were kept informed with each step of the job and they came up with some clever options that were not considered initially. The finished product will last forever because of their workmanship.
