Hi Laura + Matt, thank you for providing Pool Craft with feedback.
Pool Craft has gone to great lengths to try and resolve this cosmetic issue and have provided constant feedback and updates to determine the best course of action and timing.
That being said, I would like to remind you of a few details that you did not include in your review.
The pool was installed in the late fall of 2014 and during the construction of the pool, we experienced a few days of inclement weather which made clean up at the end of that particular day very cumbersome. But you are correct, the first week of a pool installation is definitely the most invasive and creates more mess than the later stages (such as the landscaping as you have indicated).
With respect to the small wrinkle on the custom step, you also forgot to mention that you and your family have been able to enjoy the pool without any disruption despite the minor cosmetic wrinkle on your step.
Furthermore, Pool Craft has attempted to remove this wrinkle but again due to the design of the step, there were a few areas that were very stubborn and as a result took much longer than we anticipated. However, the liner has been adjusted and you have not been burdened with any loss of pool time or any expense.
As far as the salesmen and landscaper are concerned, I agree Rick Johnson and Stone Valley are excellent (and a big part of the Pool Craft team) and given your comments, I am not sure how a 1 out of 10 is a fair rating
