Canadian Choice

We have had issues with this company since the first winter. Somehow the bad reviews in homestars keep on getting removed.
Initially we had issues with the door stain, it was coming off because the factory didn't paint it properly. After 2 years of back and forth emails they finally agreed to come and re paint it.
This issue of ice build up has been addressed before in a previous review and they contacted me to " fix the issue". The attempted to put more sealant and foam twice!! but it didn't work. I've been having issues of ice exteme build up since day 1. They haven't been able to fix it.
This happens on a regular winter day below -10. I totally understand that it could happen on extreme winter days, but this happens on regular days too.

Beautiful doors that keep out drafts and noise. More window, less frame make my view even more visible.

I had called around a few window companies to get a quote. Joe was definitely the most knowledgeable out of all. He was honest about the windows which didn't need to be changed and which did. Canadian Choice also had more options that suited what we needed. I have already referred 2 of my family members to him

We recently had to make a service call as the back door went out of alignment slightly. Within 3 days of reporting the issue, a technician, Alex, was at our home. The problem was identified and resolved in less than an hour.

Our experience with Canadian Choice has been first rate. I appreciate the way they treat their clients and stand by their products and work. If something needs to be addressed- they take care of it. Too bad more organizations dont share this same focus on the client experience

So happy with my decision! From dealing with the sales rep, to the communication in response to my many changes and questions, to the impeccable installation by the technicians. I replaced all the main floor windows and the front entrance door. Everything went well and installation was on time! My home is warm and I am so grateful. Thank you Canadian Choice!

Really happy with project from start to finish! From choosing a new front foor to providing options that best suits our needs in window replacement. Both Joe and Customer Care were promt with any questions and clarifications along the way as well as follow up post completion.

Canadian Choice did an excellent job. Stan was very helpful - he suggested the window styles and they look great. The installation went very well from start to finish. Not only do the windows look great, but it is much warmer too.

"24years warranty expired in 24 hrs." Run away from this company if you cancel the order with in 10days.I regret to inform you that my experience with Canadian Choice Windows has been nothing short of disappointing. After the installation of the windows, I discovered moisture accumulating on the windows, and much to my surprise, I was informed that this issue was not covered under warranty. Despite the obvious problems with the functionality of two of the windows, the customer service has been incredibly unhelpful. Each time I attempt to address these issues, I am met with excuses and a tendency to shift blame onto me.

I have repeatedly attempted to seek support from the customer service team, only to be met with a requirement to submit my complaints in writing via email. Verbal complaints seem to be disregarded entirely, which has made the process of addressing these issues needlessly difficult and time-consuming.

Furthermore, my suspicions regarding the installation of lower quality windows have been met with complete silence from the company. I have reached out to Canadian Choice Windows to request verification regarding the quality of two of the windows, and their failure to reply is both disappointing and concerning.

Additionally, their lack of willingness to conduct a post-installation inspection and their insistence that I wait 5-6 months for this process is not only inconvenient but also threatens to delay my government rebate. This unanticipated delay is completely unacceptable and reflects a lack of consideration for their customers' time and resources.

On top of these issues, during the installation, the installer negligently dropped tools, resulting in damage to my stair steps and wall. Despite bringing this to the attention of Canadian Choice Windows, I have been met with an astonishing lack of responsiveness and accountability.

Overall, my experience with Canadian Choice Windows has been marred by subpar quality, unhelpful customer service, and an unacceptable lack of accountability for damages caused during the installation process. I would caution anyone considering their services to think twice and carefully consider the potential consequences of engaging with this company.

One of the reasons why i chose this company is they are supposedly "Baeumler Approved" contractors. I highly doubt that. That was my first mistake even though i did get 4 different quotes. The windows look great and were priced about the same as the other quotes. Joe the salesman knows how to sell. The after sales customer service doesn't exist with this company. They installed 18 window in total but my issue is with the basement window sliders. They do not lock properly, when they are locked there is alot of movement when locked and their customer service dept made an appt to have a tech inspect and repair the windows. A week later their service dept called and said no after re-evaluating your case we have determined the window movement is normal so no need for us to send a tech to inspect. i said that's weird first you say there is an issue and now you are saying no its normal? Also 6 basement windows were installed and only 1 of them doesn't have movement so how can you say the movement is normal if the one window doesn't move at all when locked? Even Joe their salesman said yes the windows shouldn't move like they do so i don't know why they can say nope windows are fine. I will be taking further action.
