Simon renovated our 30-year old Vancouver Special in the winter and spring of 2008. He did a terrific job: we are happy with the work three years later. The work included a complete gutting of the first floor so that we could reconfigure the space in a way that was more appropriate to our family's lifestyle. We moved a kitchen and a bathroom, and changed a supporting wall. We installed new plumbing and electrical components (including a new 250 amp service to the house), changed our heating system, and installed a new hot water tank. Simon supervised trades for the plumbing, electrical, and drywall, and installed a kitchen (custom cabinetry, which is fantastic), new floors, cabinets and tiles in the bathroom, new doors and windows. We enjoyed working with Simon because we felt we could trust him. He is hardworking and cares about quality. He also is sensitive to the budget we presented and I feel that we got the right value for our money. This is a glowing review, and my only hesitation in publishing it is that I worry that the next time we do a renovation that Simon simply won't be available!2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

- We obtained permits for our work, and I highly recommend that others do the same. Even with a great contractor, there's a peace of mind in knowing that everything meets code and a third-party expert says so,
