My fridge had been acting up for a day, slowly getting warmer and warming. Well today I came home to a nearly thawed freezer and warm fridge. Having just done groceries the day before I was in a bit of a panic. After calling several companies and being told the closest appointment would be 5 days later, I tried homestars and found Cascade. While initially discouraged as I got a machine, Steve called me back in minutes and was in my home in less then 45 minutes. Within 10 minutes of his arrival he identified the problem, HAD THE PART IN HAND, and got my fridge working in the time I could have ordered take out! Steve was very professional, tidy, prompt and knowledgeable. He even showed me a few things I didn't even know about the appliance, as well as how to better care for it to prevent a similar problem in the future. On a side note, the fridge had a leaky water supply that I hadn't used in years. I asked him about it, and in seconds found its problem as well. He promised to order the part in a few days, but only after I was satisfied that this repair was done right! As for cost …. had Cascade not come so soon, I would have lost three or four times the value of groceries in the fridge, as I don't have a back up. In other words A BARGIN!
