With a limited budget, we wanted to find a way to renovate our 70-year-old kitchen to give us more storage space and an updated feel; however, we did not want to rip out all of the existing wooden cabinetry and replace it with the cookie-cutter, particle-board cabinetry that is all too common in kitchen renovations. We were very fortunate to find Malcolm (Skip) McGrath, whose workmanship provided upgrades that exceeded our expectations. He designed and built a cabinet for the sink area with storage that allows us to sort and store our grey-bin and blue-bin garbage; the cabinet also includes pull-out drawers for food storage. Skip also increased the functionality of our adjoining breakfast nook by creating a floor-to-ceiling pantry, a built-in bookcase and a large wrap-around seating area that provides a combination breakfast bar and computer station. All of the cabinetry that Skip built matches perfectly the existing cabinetry in our kitchen, complementing our original kitchen design. Skip uses only the best-quality material, stays within budget, gets the work done quickly, and never fails to return telephone calls and emails. We would have absolutely no hesitation in using Skip again and in recommending his services to others.0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
