Come enjoy MC Penny Southam of Southam Design, while several top Ottawa area designers, listed here below, donate their time to raise fund for Stephanie Lanctot.
Stephanie Lanctot is an Ottawa U graduate who, after starting her new teaching career last fall, was shortly thereafter diagnosed with cervical cancer. Stephanie is only 25 years old. She was forced to seek treatments outside of Ottawa. Because she had few teaching hours built up, Stephanie was unable to receive any benefits. Many of the costs associated with her seeking treatment are not covered by OHIP, including staying in Toronto and, travel to and from her home in Ottawa. Stephanie still cannot work due to the chemo treatments and exhaustion and now she must seek alternative treatments in NYC. We want to help her do that.
HomeStars is proud to partner with host and marathon co-ordinators Gendron Antiques. As part of our commitment, we are pledging $10 per review added to our site in the lead up and during the marathon fundraiser.
20-4-20 Designer Day Marathon is also supported by Starfish Promotions, Mountain Road Productions and Little Cakes, who will be making the day that much sweeter with their pledge of mini cupcakes.
