Oakville Countertops

Whether you choose slate, pounded copper, granite, or quartz--yes, quartz--for your countertop installation, kitchen and bathroom countertops are a focal point. The average kitchen counter top is set at 36 inches; any other height requires custom kitchen cabinets, an important detail when renovating or installing to make a kitchen ADA-compliant, or for making the room accessible to all. Bathroom counters tend to be set at 30 inches, although recent trends in custom homes show more homeowners choosing to raise the height of bathroom countertops to 32 and even 34 inches.
