While it's been years since we purchased a futon, I remember Cotton Cloud being the best place around for futons. Their selection is fantastic, and the people are really helpful and knowledgeable. They have lots of accessories and sheets too.

A review for Starks Vacuums

I've had a vacuum serviced here a couple of times, and it still didn't work right. Then I bought a new vacuum there when it came time, and while their salespeople are very knowledgeable, they really push certain brands. I don't like that. And I wasn't satisfied with the vacuum (Simple was the brand I believe) so I brought it back.

A review for Aloha Glass

I've gone to Aloha Glass a couple of times when I needed to have replacement mirrors cut, and the service was great. The people were nice and the prices were nice too. Recommended!

A review for Deep Clean Carpet Systems

This company advertised that they'd move furniture and really work on stains. That was not true--they were very fast to do their work--it didn't seem like a deep clean at all, and they even charged me $20 extra to clean my small living room rug, even though they didn't have to clean underneath it.

A review for Standard TV & Appliance

Standard was great because they offered a good selection of appliances, the best brands, and they matched (and I believe beat) the best prices I could find. I will go there again.

A review for Lowe's

I really like Lowe's for home projects. Their selection and prices tend to be better than Home Depot, and I also like the way the store is laid out. The lighting and signage in the store is great too. You may not think that matters, but when you're in a store the size of these stores, with 100,000 different products, I think it really helps. The only thing I dislike, is they tend to be a little more nitpicky with returns than Home Depot. The $50 is just average per trip to the store.
