A review for Borders Contracting

My neighbours had recently had some work done on their home, so I asked them if they were pleased with the work that their contractor did for them. They said that they were quite pleased with his work and they recommended him to us. I called the contractor and asked him to quote on a landscaping job in our backyard. I also asked him for references and they all checked out OK. We hired Jack because he had creative ideas and his price was reasonable. Unfortunately, we got was we paid for. His work was reasonably good, but not great. A lot of the stones in the landscaping have shifted because he didn't lay the foundation properly. It's only been a couple of years and we need to get someone to re-lay a lot of the stones. This will probably cost about $1,000.
