A review for EQ3 Burlington

I actually have to admit that I didn't have high hopes for this store upon entry for the first time. It looked like the styling was too 'out there' for me at first, but I committed to looking around because I had heard from a friend that nice things could be found here. I was looking for a TV stand. And lo and behold, I found one at EQ3 that fit the bill - solid wood, black, large enough for our 52 inch TV, not too 'out there' looking, and $500 was much cheaper than similar ones that I had seen. It was much nicer than ones I had seen at big box electronics stores. They also had a promotion going on that if you spent over $500 then you recieved a $100 gift card - no strings attached. I used the gift card to buy a lamp and cushion. I always check out EQ3 now when shopping for furnishings - I haven't bought anything else, but have seen a number of things for all tastes, and have recommended it as well.

A review for Amish Furniture Outlet

I was really surprised (in a good way) by this store. When I first visited there, I wasn't aware that so much of what they do is custom work. What you see in their showroom is just a tiny slice of what is available - when you look at the catalogues, it's amazing how many 'basic' pieces are customizable in terms of wood used, styling, hardware, etc. We wanted a desk for our office but we couldn't find the size we wanted. One that we saw at Amish Furniture was completely our style, but it didn't look big enough. Upon inquiring, we found that we could have it made larger (otherwise exactly the same). So we placed the order and received an exact replica, only larger, of the one in the showroom - we were really impressed and would return for custom furniture in the future.

A review for Bombay

Bombay Company cannot be beat!! The things they sell are gorgeous... I'm addicted to this place for home decor, and every time I buy something there, I have tons of people comment/compliment me on it. I have never been disappointed with a purchase from Bombay! The quality of merchandise is top notch and, while the price can be a bit higher than other places, you definitely get what you pay for. I have had a night table from Bombay for years and it looks as good now as it did new... the pieces really stand the test of time!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to add a few nice accents to their home!

A review for Home Outfitters

I was pleasantly surprised on a recent visit to Home Outfitters - I wasn't expecting to find exactly what I was looking for, but a friend had told me to check it out. I was in the market for artwork for a new home, and boy, did I find great stuff!! The selection was pretty large and the painting were trendy and sophisticated all at once. I bought 3 canvas pieces and a few framed ones as well - I have had several compliments already. I would go back there in a heartbeat, not only for artwork, but also other home decor. The selection can't be beat!

A review for William Ashley China

This place has an incredible once-a-year sale that I love (other times of the year, the prices are too high for my budget, but this annual sale is a real treat!)!! The quality of the products is exceptional and you will not beat the prices at their November sale (many prices are ped up to 80%). I would recommend checking this place out for glassware, china, silverware, dishes, etc., and then going back when the sale is on... you'll be glad you did! I recently saved $400 dollars on a set of superior quality silverware (that I never could have afforded otherwise!)!

A review for BouClair - Ajax

Bouclair has really nice window coverings... they have tons of selection and many of the drapes are gorgeous. I ended up purchasing drapes there after a lot of shopping around (best price for the superior quality that I found at Bouclair). The staff were very helpful in terms of showing me different colours, styles, etc., along the lines of what I described that I wanted. The drapes that I eventually picked took a little longer than I wanted to arrive in-store, but it was definitely worth it in the end.
