The work we finally got was great, but it was such a struggle - and needlessly. They quoted per linear foot, and took a deposit... we had site delays so it wasn't a big deal. But when we were ready to go months and months later - it was brutal. I'd call, they would say they'd call back. Another week would go by. I'd call, they'd send out a guy, but no information back to me on what was happening. This happened so many weeks in a row... They sent over a sketch, I approved it, but no info on what the new cost would be. I threatened to move on, they dared me to... it was brutal. In the end, they just showed up when they felt like it, they did a good job, they were twice the cost they had quoted... if I knew of other suppliers, I would have switched. But that's it. They are definitely capable, just a mess and they didn't care cause my job was small.

Everest quoted me clearly, delivered on-time and on-schedule. They were clean, professional and did an excellent job. It was not the cheapest quote, but I dealt with roofers in the past who were just as expensive and did brutal work. I had a great experience with Everest, and I am confident in the work delivered.

Gus at So Green is the only guy who comes to you with a detailed quote that breaks down everything he is going to do. And that is exactly what he does. He did our entire front in interlock, all the plants, all designed by him with lots of hours invested in the design. He does very nice work, is professional and courteous, and is a real pleasure. He did our last house, and we will hire him again this spring to do our new house. I can't say enough about Gus. Great landscaper!

Jimmy was hired to redo the entire envelope of our stucco house. The job was delayed when we ran into a problem with our foundation, and Jimmy stopped the job, and returned months later to complete it. His team worked in all weather, and juggled multiple other jobs to fit us in. He always said 'my job is to make sure you are happy' whenever I came to him with another detail that needed to be addressed. Stucco work is a big job, and he and his crew were always professional and dealt with us honestly. We had a good experience with Toprock, and we recommend him if you are considering a stucco company.

Tom at TML was hired to do some roof work at my place. The roof work he did was fine, but the critical issues I had, like some leaks near my skylights, did not get the attention I had asked for. Though he assured me when he left 'they were fine' (they are not fine). I hired Tom from TML and paid the bill without question cause I had to get some emergency roofing work done. He came highly recommended by a neighbour, and though he was sick for weeks, he came through on the job. But he didn't explain upfront that he didn't want to do the cualking and flashing work I needed, and kept changing the priority of the work I wanted done. In the end, he did all the shingle work, and the details he didn't want to cover off, he told me to get someone else to handle ("not my specialty".. would have been nice to know that upfront). Then the guy he referred me to do the flashing and whatnot - a complete no show. So Tom's roofing is fine - for roofing. Don't deviate in any way, and you will be happy. Courteous, got receipts,

A review for Building Permit Services by Architect Inc

Ladislav worked all weekend to get us an emergency permit when we discovered some major issues with our foundation. Not only that, he went with us to the city to get our permit, where it was obvious he not only knew the staff, but they concurred with his opinions and dealt with him respectfully - it was clear he knows his stuff. We had the permit in a matter of hours and he has followed my project and provided assistance and support throughout. I recommend Ladislav Kratky without hesitation.
