A review for Otto's Masonry
I have a 3 story house downtown with an 8 foot square patch of bricks near the top that were needing minor tuck work. I asked for several quotes, but it is a small job and few people were returning my calls. Otto's was the most experienced and gave me a very reasonable price. The workman was very pleasant, worked very quickly and efficiently using a high ladder. I am very pleased!
Thanks Paul and Mike. We try our best to service all jobs---small and large. Thanks for the kind review. Sincerely, Tony

I cannot say enough in words how impressed and satisfied I was with Jason's work. We asked Jason to redo our small but intricate foyer tile and redo a backsplash. First off, Jason is one of the most personable people we have ever met. He truely brings an American customer service level to Toronto. We should feel extremely lucky to have him in our city! He strives for perfection in everything he does. After laying the very intricate pattern of tile we found we had some minor discolourations in the tiles; Jason was not satisfied with it and would not leave us with something "not perfect", and immediately offered to replace the tiling without cost, until it was perfect. We accepted the offer, and now the foyer looks like a masterpiece - I hope to be able to load some pictures on the site soon to prove how exacting his work is. We constantly get praise from our friends on it. (He even did a small job for free in a second bathroom to "make up" for the inconvience to us!) In addition, Jason showed up exactly on time each day (8 am) based on our convenience, worked the entire day with breaks, and was the best communicator I have known... giving me daily updates on the status of the job and in person. He was honest about any technical challenges he faced with our difficult foyer, and really earned our trust and friendship. I would recommend him to friends in a second.0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
A review for Control Appliance Service Ltd.
My relatively high-end Amana fridge stopped cooling but the lights were still working. I called the manufacturer (Whirlpool) from the manual, who was going to charge $85 just to come out, plus $25 per 15 minute increment, before cost of parts or tax!! They suggested I needed a whole new fridge (about $1600 for my model) since they thought it sounded like a compressor replacement (a bit deal). I went online and called the first 5 repair people on this site with positive reviews, and Joe was the first to return my call. He arrived the next day, on time. He immediately replaced a relay on the fridge. The whole thing, including his visit fee and the new relay, was $120. I could not be more happy!!
