A review for Maple Creek Landscaping

We hired Mark (of Maple Creek Landscaping) to take care of our lawn this spring and maintain our landscaping and have been extremely happy with his work so far. His team is reliable and does a fast and thorough job. Mark has been very easy to deal with and has offered solutions to some of our landscaping issues (overgrown bushes and trees). The company does all kinds of landscaping / external work and we plan to use them in the future for other projects! Highly reccomend this business.

A review for Rent-a-Son

Hire these guys, you'll be glad you did. This review is long overdue. We hired Ren-a-Son to move our belongings from a condo into a storage "pod", and then several months later, to unpack the pod and move everything into our home. On both occasions, the two "sons" arrived on time, were extremely polite and careful with our items, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and work ethic. The best part was, they were available to pitch-in and assist with random tasks during the moves (such as hauling and loading supplies to and from our car, wrapping/unwrapping delicate furniture, etc.). This was a real advantage - their service is not limited to moving boxes and furniture - they completed a whole host of smaller tasks that we needed help with. The end result was a smooth move with less effort on our part. I'm so glad we hired Rent-a-Son and will definitely work with them again!

Russ and his team were extremely reliable and professional. He provided a quote quickly and accurately. The price was very fair too. The team was on time and worked diligently. I was thrilled with the end result - new eaves / fascia / soffits, etc. My house looks like it got a facelift! My neighbour was so impressed, she contacted them too. Definitely reccommend Homecraft Aluminum!

A review for Finer Edge Painting & Improvements

This was a small job, but Finer Edge delivered outstanding service nonetheless. When rain damaged the still-wet paint, they returned to fix the damage without hesitation. They were courteous, thorough and pleasant to deal with. Their price was very fair too. Highly recommend Finer Edge!

A review for West Elm

West Elm offers great contemporary furniture at relatively reasonable cost. I have purchased a couple of items for my new home there. The only frustration has been that they do not carry the same variety in fabrics / styles as the U.S. stores do. For example, even if a couch comes in a choice of fabrics according to the catalog, it likely is only available in a single fabric / colour in Canada. Hopefully as their Canadian presence grows, they will offer the same product selection here! Otherwise, it's a terrific store and worth checking out.

A review for MMT Waterproofing

We used MMT to waterproof half of our basement from years of moisture seeping through the foundation walls. We obtained several quotes before hiring MMT. Not only was their price the lowest, but Mario was polite, knowledgable and professional. We made the right choice. Mario has been a pleasure to work with - he is responsive and honest - a complete pleasure to work with. His team arrived on time and got the job done efficiently. They left the site clean. Mario explained (in great detail) what was done to remedy the leaks, etc. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied. Mario even followed up after the first heavy rainfall to ensure that no water was leaking through the walls they had waterproofed. I'm very pleased. Hire MMT. You will not be sorry.
