Futon couch frame

A review for Fly By Night

Dec 13, 2007

When we needed a new couch, we went to Fly By Night. We wanted a futon couch for guest sleeping, and Fly By Night has the best selection around. We spent a whole afternoon in the store, with no rush or pressure to buy, but very helpful friendly staff when we had questions. We settled on a frame with all sorts of clever little cubbies and magazine racks and so on, and I picked it up at the warehouse the next day! Even the directions on assembly were clear and simple. When we need a new futon, we'll go back.

A review for Lamore Lumber Post and Beam

Dec 13, 2007

I was responsible for arranging the purchase of 4 tons of wood chips for our school, and after exhaustively researching local options, Lamore was the best. They were not only the best in price, they were the easiest to work with; prompt, professional, and made me feel like my job was the priority. After three years, the wood chips are holding up beautifully under hard use. I would use them again for any future needs.

A review for Annie's Garden & Gift Store

Dec 13, 2007

The plants I buy at Annies thrive,so the slightly higher cost is worth it, in my mind. I've bought gifts for friends, spent time just browsing with my babies, or asked detailed questions that get solid answers. Plus, the ever-changing, ever-clever sign out front makes them a very friendly, inviting part of the community.

A review for Wilson's Department Store

Dec 13, 2007

Wilson's is an old-fashion department store, straight out of the 1950s, but it has the most up-to-date kitchen gadgets you can find, for a very reasonable price. Sometimes it seems a little under-staffed, but the peace and quiet is such a nice change from the 'big-box' chaos, I'm not complaining. There are floors of home furnishings, toys, clothes, and books, as well. Quality, plus locally owned for generations, equals a repeat customer here.

Lawn tools and garden supplies

A review for Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange

Dec 13, 2007

The folks at the Exchange were very helpful in recommending good rakes, shovels, and lawn care products when we bought our home last year. They routinely take the time to discuss what I want, and are happy to walk me to the exact item I need, rather than just point me toward a section of the store. I will count on them for years of future lawn and garden purchases.
