A review for Goemans Appliances

Even though there are big box stores within walking distance of our home, we buy our appliances at Goeman's because of the quality of service and knowledgability of the staff. We get good advice on the products to buy, and delivery and installation always go smoothly. Since outfitting our new kitchen here four years ago, we have not gone elsewhere for appliances.

Don has been providing window and eaves cleaning for us for several years. He always does a great job and is very pleasant to deal with. He has also cleaned our Silhouette blinds and the outcome was great - no wrinkling as other cleaners have warned us about. We're very satisfied with his services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

For almost 6 months, we attempted to get this store to provide repairs to our skylight blind. After selling us a replacement battery for $200, which consisted of 18 AA batteries in a plastic box, my husband had problems installing it. We brought the battery kit back to the store and they were to send an installer to our home. The installer came, without the battery kit. Another appointment was to be set up, but no-one ever called. Repeated calls to the store resulted in promises to arrange an appointment, but this never happened. Sonia, the store manager, changed her story every time we spoke to her. She didn't follow through on anything she promised us, and was extremely rude and unhelpful. My husband finally had to go to the store to get the battery back, and we made other arrangements to fix it. I would avoid this store at all costs.
