Michael arrived within the hour the office called to tell me the technician was coming. He was courteous and friendly and very knowledgable. When he looked at the leak he immediately pulled the hose out and hand tightened the connection. Problem solved. He tightened it further with tools and asked if there was anything else he could help me with. I was flabbergasted at how easy the solution was and he went on to explain to me that disreputable plumbers have been know to LOOSEN this hose to overcharge their clients for unnecessary work. He even asked if I'd seen the CBC Marketplace special on such fraud, and joked that he might be on hidden camera. This was the most pleasant and educational visit I've had from a tradesperson and I would call him in a heartbeat if I had another problem. He even made a follow up call to make sure the problem hadn't recurred. If you've got plumbing issues, stop reading this review and call WaterWorks. You won't regret it.

Gord from Finer Edge got back to me in a timely manner and was very accommodating when scheduling the work to be done. I was pleased when the crew showed up on time (often a rare occurrence with trades), courteous and ready to work. They moved all the large furniture, covered everything up and got to work. They were done in half a day and even took the time to volunteer to touch up some marks on the walls (which wasn't part of the job at all). They tidied up, vacuumed and took their garbage with them. Everyone with whom I had contact was pleasant and professional. The results are fantastic and I would hire Finer Edge for any future painting jobs - big or small.

I had my family room pot lights replaced, which resulted in six large holes in my cathedral ceiling. Kevin Buckner called me within 24 hours after my online query and arranged to come a give me a quote the next day (Friday). He arrived on time with a professional appearance and demeanour and managed to fit my job into his schedule. He and his crew arrived EARLY on Monday morning (rare in contractors) and they quickly got to work. They finished the job on time and finished the work BEAUTIFULLY! Not only did they fix the holes, but patched up any cracks and nail pops that were visible. While it was inconvenient to have my family room out of commission for three days, the results were completely worth it. I would recommend Kevin for any drywall/plastering work. He and his guys know their stuff.

We had a mysterious ceiling leak in a recently renovated house. My phone call was returned within the hour and someone came to fix the problem in two days. They identified & resolved the problem within an hour, in addition to advising me of possible future concerns. I will definitely contact the company to follow through on those repairs in the future. Courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. What more can you ask for in a contractor?

We had water leaking into our 3 year old finished basement due to settling between an addition and the original structure. Upon contacting the delightful Darby, he came out within 24 hours to quote us on the job. He gave us repair options, gave us all the info we felt we need to make a decision and quoted us a price much lower than expected. He and his crew made me feel like I was the most important job they'd ever had. They updated me on the progress of the job (which they finished very quickly) and were nicest guys. They were accommodating and respectful of my neighbour and even offered to come back to repair any issues with her interlocking brick later in the spring. I would recommend Darby & the Mud Monkeys to anyone.... EVER. A pleasure to deal with, to be sure.

I needed to have an eavestrough replaced that was very close to the next house. I contacted several eavestrough & roofing companies (including some featured repeatedly on prominent DIY shows) only to be told that the only solution was to use a sheet of metal joining our roof to our neighbour's as a "joint" trough. I was sure that the job COULD be done, it would just be a time-consuming one. I found All County Aluminum on Homestars and when Serge arrived to quote me, he was courteous and professional. Even more important, he explained how the job could be done, & that it would take more time & patience to do. His crew arrived within a couple of weeks, they were clean, efficient and remarkably quiet. Not only that, they fixed my back gate that was broken, at NO charge. Serge & his guys were honest, did quality work and delivered a repair job in a timely & friendly manner.

Dan is one of the most congenial, friendly & hard-working contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Dan assisted me in purchasing the items for the project and worked right up until Christmas Eve to get the job done. I was astounded at how great my backsplash and shower look! I am having him back to do some carpentry and wouldn't hesitate to use him for any number of projects, big or small.
