Dropped by this store on the way to class to browse - as you can expect from the store name, don't expect many televisions or dvd players, it's more about stereo systems and mp3 players. Staff are quite friendly but a bit distracted at times, but once you get their attention they're good at helping you select the right product.

A review for Enchanted World of Boxes

I wouldn't really classify it as a Christmas decoration store - it actually sells handmade boxes. This store is quite bohemian-y, too, which is always nice :) The staff are friendly hippies, no pushy sales pitches or anything like that. It's a bit tucked away but worth the find. I got a small green celtic box for my boyfriend (he's Irish). The artwork on the boxes are amazing, and they even have chess cases.

A review for The Art Corner

Popped into this store to look at picture frames (as I didn't know it was a gallery), and was amazed at the variety of local art on display. This place should really be down Artist's Row in Salem, not next to Major Macgleashes (a dive bar). A lot of good finds, but hard to navigate as a lot of art is just propped up in front of each other. The gallery has a lot of exhibitions though.

A review for Antiques & Uniques of Salem

Difficult to shop in, as it's a bit cluttered, but I guess you've got to expect that from a teeny antique store. The staff are as quirky as the store, and while I can't help but think that things might be cheaper in larger chain stores, I'd probably go back to this one because the pieces have a bit more character.

A review for Salem Oriental Gallery

This place is sort of hidden away in the Museum Place Mall, but being a gift store it's not out of place. The most impressive thing about the store are the fabrics, wall hangings and the silk paintings, all of which look exquisite when displayed together. The staff were not very pushy but quite knowledgeable.

A review for Bob's Discount Furniture

Good variety in the Saugus store - most other places sell a lot of leather couches and sofas. This place had a good variety of vegan-friendly furniture :) I called up to check on delivery status and the operatives were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back there again.
