We called Mr. Rooter about a sump pump problem from a previous installation. Will was the technician and he totally surpassed our expectations. He was friendly, courteous and really, really helpful. I came home one night to find the sump pump Mr. Rooter had installed making a constant noise. I was worried something was wrong so I unplugged the unit and immediately called Mr. Rooter. It was very late but the person I spoke to on the phone was very understanding and helpful, and booked the person for the first appointment the next day. I was concerned about getting charged for the service call, but she reassured me there wouldn't be a charge. It turns out the sump pump had shifted and the controller was touching the sides of the tank, so it was jammed on. The technician moved the pump back and assured me it shouldn't happen again. I questioned this since it already happened once. So I'm sceptical, but we'll see. He didn't charge anything which was good (but expected). But he left without saying goodbye. I wasn't sure if he was coming back or not for me to sign something.

This is the second time I've had Yorkville come to my house. Last time they did an amazing job with my blinds and chairs. The chairs are white ultra suede and get dirty easily. The team cleaned them beautifully and took out all the food and dirt spots. They even helped out with a few other cleaning jobs. Great work guys! Thanks.

Both Liam and Nathan were great at communicating what they could do for us in terms of cleaning our interlocking stone and flagstone. The results for both were astonishing! I could not believe the difference from before. They also put some hardening sand between the interlocking (something I didn't know existed) so that we don't get any weeds growing through the cracks. The flagstone was washed nicely and all the green areas were eliminated. The machines are a little noisy, but I would highly recommend these guys for power washing anything!

Eric came over and quickly fixed the main problem with my irrigation (something my previous irrigation guy screwed up). He then fixed some other smaller but time consuming problems as well. I first contacted Quality Restorations from a referral by another company on Homestars that was too busy to do my brickwork job right away. Right from the beginning, Doug was clear and helpful with information and quotes regarding my brickwork. Because of this, I also asked Doug to quote on some roofing that was required as well. He gave me very good advice and options for the roof and wisely suggested I should also change the eaves and downspouts. Doug had given me an estimate on laying plywood on the roof (which I thought I needed) but honestly stated that it wasn't necessarily required. I went with his advice and saved money! I was very impressed with Doug's brickwork team (Peter & co-worker) and his roofing/eaves team (Mike & son) that I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work. Doug was always very clear about what was happening and when. Very great service and also very cost competitive when I compared his quotes with others. I feel that I can trust Doug to give me honest advice and would use his services again when required. In fact, I've already had him quote on some other work. I highly recommend his company. Mr. Rooter is a very professional and conscientious company. They told me exactly when someone would call, and when someone could come. They allowed an alternate number too. When Vadym arrived, he covered his shoes and investigated the problem. He was very clear about what the problem could be and he even showed me drawings in his book. His book contained prices as well so I never felt I was being ripped off. He did the work right away once I approved the cost and he solved the problem and cleaned up everything perfectly. His caulking skills are excellent. He put a perfect bead of caulking around the base of the toilet. Needless to say I'm very picky about that kind of thing and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well he did it. I would highly recommend Vadym and Mr. Rooter.

I would highly recommend Yorkville because of their great service and amazing results. The whole process from making the initial call, getting someone over to do the estimate, and finally the removal and install were headache-free. I had a badly stained white Hunter Douglas Trio blind that needed cleaning and it came out looking totally clean! Metal venetian blinds that had years of dust caked on them looked new again. And white faux suede chairs were revived by a quick cleaning. Be aware that the machine used for the upholstery cleaning was fairly loud though. I didn't bother getting other quotes (because I trusted the 9.9 rating they received here) so I don't know how they compare in price to other companies, but to me, good service is worth every cent.
