A review for Agway

I went in for organic fertilizer (Plantone--good stuff) and they had it for a good price in large quantities. The employee was not particularly friendly and or helpful, but he seemed overwhelmed by an injury (he was limping) and a busy day, so I can forgive that. They have good prices and great selection, especially compared to Home Depot or some of the area gardening centers. I'm not sure I'd buy plants from there, they looked picked over and not so healthy, but for bird seed, fertilizer and other gardening needs, they're good.

I purchased perennials (lots) from Dick's and they were excellent quality. The staff is helpful, courteous and answered all of my questions. I would recommend them to anyone for their gardening needs.

A review for Waste Management

We moved to town and had the option of town dump (and paying $2.50 a bag for trash!) or private trash pickup. We cringed at the idea of loading up bags of trash in our car. When we compared the prices of our average trash bags for private pickup or town dump, the cost is about the same. Waste Management is a few dollars more, but you're paying for the convenience of curbside pickup. They have reliable service and it's worth it.

The staff was very helpful with helping me estimate how much lumber I would need and what kind. They took the time to educate me and answered any questions I had. The prices were fair and the service was great.

A review for Bursaw Gas and Oil Company

We used Bursaw Oil because that's what the previous owner used, so we didn't think to change it. We were wrong. Bursaw had regular deliveries and provided great service, especially tromping through the snow to find the spigot, which is located on the far side of the house, way far from the driveway. However, their prices are high--higher than most in the area. Once we realized that we were paying too much, we switched vendors. Make sure to check your prices!
