We have been very pleased with the finished job by Mike and his crew - they were terrific! Good workmanship, knowledgeable advice and easy to get along with. Everything according to code and safety regulations. We couldn't be more pleased. They built a basement apartment from scratch with the following: laundry facilities, kitchen, bath, bedroom, study, living-room area and entrance hall. They did the plumbing, wiring, tiling, sound-proofing the apartment, insulation, and installed bathroom, kitchen, heating, air-conditioning, lights and much more. Great job! We highly recommend them.

Thank you everyone, you did a fantastic job, on time, superb workmanship. We have been renovating an old house, kept the original plastered walls, but they needed a lot of work and kept some of the old wallpaper which was skimmed (?), anyway covered with plaster. Superb job and we highly recommend this company if you want a great job - it costs, but well worth it.

Steve and his partner responded quickly to my enquiry and arrived as scheduled. Steve was not only knowledgeable about the kind of trees we had but also advised us on what to watch out for, given some leaking sap in the mulberry tree. The trees had not been attended to for some time, so they were in need of trimming over the roof of the house, the garage and the neighbour's house. When done they cleaned up, leaving no mess.

A review for Age of Bronze

I contacted Brett Davis to restore an 1920's bronze porch lamp which had several coats of paint, damaged parts and was badly eroded. He promptly responded with a reasonable quote after I sent him photos via email. A further examination determined the heavily eroded lamp could be saved. He cleaned, repaired, rewired and made new parts for this vintage work. As you can see the beautifully carved hand holding the torch with the acanthus leaves at the top was beautifully reworked!! Thank you! I highly recommend him to all seeking restoration work. He is an artist, conservationist and very knowledgeable.

Moving is the worst experience, but this crew did a terrific job and with humour. They arrived early, wrapped everything in quilt blankets, taped it and every bit of furniture arrived safely. Not only that they will dis-assemble and assemble when they reach your destination, placing each item where you request it. Terrific job - highly recommended.

This company was efficient, economical and professional from beginning to end. Scott made all the original arrangements and got back to me immediately. After the agreement was made, the crew came on the weekend, completing a big rush job in 3 days. The old floors in this historical house now look beautiful - much preferred over new floors with no history. I recommend this crew to anyone considering restoring old floors. They refinished our steps, foyer, living and dining rooms and bedrooms. Great job! Harriet and Miguel.

A review for Emerald Moving

We highly recommend Emerald movers: they were careful with all items, wrapped everything in quilted blankets, were courteous, pleasant and worked steady through the day. We had a lot of things of move, so it took more than the 6 hours minimum required for a 2-bedroom condo. One of the movers wrapped while two moved and packed the items into the 24 ft. van. They are a little more expensive than other movers, but not much and well worth the extra dollars. They also move on Saturdays, not all companies will do this. We are planning to use them again.
