A review for Glimpse of Tibet

My wife is Buddhist and wanted to add some touches to our home that would reflect this. We went together to Glimpse of Tibet in Northampton to find some inspiring decorations. The items were quite expensive but handmade and truly beautiful. We found some wall hangings, throw pillows and statuary that she really liked. We will definitely be shopping there again. The family that owns and operates the store is courteous and helpful. They are happy to answer all kinds of questions about the items they carry.

A review for L & F Construction

L&F Construction gave us a great deal on (what for us seemed like a large quantity of)loam for our raised garden beds. I think that they are used to working on much larger scale projects than ours, that require trucks to come and deliver the loam. Because we lived right around the corner and were willing to dig and transport the loam ourselves, they gave us a reduced price. The woman in the office was very friendly and helped me find the right mound to dig in when I arrived and she wished us luck with our gardening. I would recommend L&F for projects big or small as they were so pleasant and helpful.

A review for The Mercantile

At the Mercantile, I was able to find some nice unusual items for my wife's meditation room. I bought some tapestries, buddha statues, decorative wall hangings, bells and more. It turned out quite nicely and my wife was surprised that I was able to find such unusual items nearby and affordable.

A review for BJ's Wholesale

We go to BJ's a lot for bulk purchases of food and toiletries and such, but we've also bought furniture there, including a great massage table and patio furniture, and household appliances like our toaster oven and big screen t.v. and gas grill. The best thing about B.J.'s is their return policy if something breaks after you buy it. We've been pleased with everything we've purchased there and never had to return anything but it does give us peace of mind. We always get help loading large items into our vehicle which was especially helpful when my wife was pregnant.

A review for ocean state job lots

we just finished laying pine flooring, which looks great but dents and scratches easily. we needed some carpeting for the high traffic areas but had very little money left to work with. It seemed that the oriental carpets we had in mind were WAY out of our price range. Then at an Ocean State Job Lots in Chatham, MA we happened upon a large selection of really good looking italian and oriental carpets. They were so inexpensive that we were able to buy enough for our whole downstairs. Several years later, they still look terrific. Job Lots has a lot of cheapy stuff too but every now and then you can get a great deal like we did.
