A review for Executive Touch Painters & Home Renovations

I referred another contractor to my lovely clients. WHAT A MISTAKE! Even though , I am an interior designer,having over sixteen years of experience in the field,and have hired and fired many contractors...I trusted this one to do my job. It was not an impossible task- it was an easy task...if one had the correct sub contractors. Needless to say, I contacted Massimo to repaint, resand, resmooth - just "redo" all the ceilings, walls and trim to a perfect- as possible finish. The clients are now happy- as the past job was simply a botch of a plaster, sand, finish and paint process. Thanks again for making my clients happy and me too... As an aside: The contractor world is getting a bad reputation for untrustworthy con-tractors. It does not matter who the referral comes from, they subcontract out and the experience changes from great job number one to disaster job number two. The issues are 1) who referred you is not responsible for the work and should not be chastised continuously- as we feel bad enough. 2) WSIB, Insurance companies and referrals cannot assist you- as they change their crews regularly...You can only pray and read Homestars to pull a few needles out of a haystack and interview them. The rest is truly luck! Massimo and his crew are sheer gold! I shall be using them to colour my worlds from now on! Cheers! Tracy

Finding the correct fireplace for a client is totally a daunting task. Even being an interior designer does not make it any easier. Relying on the best sourcing is the key- Colin is the man for electric fireplace knowledge. He gave me a few options based on scale,price and value for the client's money... We selected a fabulous fireplace that just made the room! No messy clean up- just the warm ambient light that does not compete with the tv. Thanks again Colin! The gents were fabulously understanding with my moulding plight. They tried to steer me in the correct avenue to find the moulding wheel that I required to complete a job- additional moulding required from a place that went bankrupt early this year. A review for Kalos Construction

I am a designer and had worked with this company before. They were excellent at removing stucco! Clean, friendly and honest. They did a second renovation for me.This was a bathroom/laundry combination within a private residence.That was fine too! Then, they started to demo two bathrooms, in a multi storey condominium unit and the wheels fell off! Kalos flooded the condo within ten minutes. Kalos was not hired to do electrical or plumbing work.This was clearly stated and understood. I shall give him credit that he had insurance. The moral of the story- contractors can change the crews and the calibre of the work can change with that. Needless to say, the project has been a nightmare for the owners and for myself. The insurance is covering the new floor- for the entire suite...that is a whole other project entirely. The contractors that took over are AMAZING! I am truly blessed by them.
