Leaky flat roof
A review for Mr Roof Repair.ca
I called this contractor but the message on the phone suggested to use their website for faster service, so I did. I filled out their online form, then I quickly got an email outlining what they could do. We scheduled an appointment and after they outlined the basic fees, I waited for them to show up. I was given a two hour window on saturday, they showed up right on time and expediently went to work. the worker clearly explained to me what he witnessed and what he did to fix it, which was exactly what I had diagnosed myself when I checked out the roof for myself. Then after the repair, which took less than an hour, I was provided with before and after pictures of the work. It look nice and water-tight. The invoice and information they provided was exactly as expected, no surprises here!

Insulating a Flat roof and exterior walls
A review for Foam Comfort Inc.
Foam Comfort quickly and efficiently sealed our upstairs (ceilings and exterior walls) with soy-based spray foam and couldn't be happier with the service. The salesperson that came was the friendliest and most knowledgeable of the contractors I met. He took the time to tell me about the different products they use and answered thoroughly my questions. Most importantly he didn't talk down to me and was very honest and down to earth. Gave me sound estimate and his honest opinion about some of the concerns I had. Contrary to some of the other contractors who just threw a number at me for the job without explaining what they do. The staff I dealt with was always very professional, courteous and responded to my queries on time. As a matter of fact, the thickness of the product seemed insufficient for me in certain areas and a closet wall was overlooked. Foam Comfort immediately rectified the problem the next day by sending another crew to do quality control. They too were excellent...! Although they were a tad late to the job site (8:55 instead of 8:30 and 3:25 instead of 3:00) they did take the time to come back and rectify the issues I had with the job. By far the most pleasing aspect of this experience: the crews always left a site cleaner than it was when they came in!!! I was shocked and elated to walk into my recently gutted home and see that they cleaned and swept the entire floor, leaving it free of dust and other particulates. I would never hesitate to hire Foam Comfort again or to recommend there services. They only lose one small point because we had to get a second visit to make it right, which was slightly inconvenient-- more annoying than anything. Overall, the products they offer are environmentally-friendly, the staff is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Well rounded team! Thanks again Foam Comfort, we'll see you again once I do the basement!
Company Response:
At Foam Comfort we fully guarantee our work. Although we like to "get it right the first time" some days due to the uncertainties of life we fall short. But as per your review we do come back to "make it right". Simply put, "If you're not comfortable, we're not comfortable". I am delighted that you would recommend us and our team looks forward to servicing you again when you are ready to do the basement.

A review for Surge Elektrik
Jim and his crew are very professional, on time, on budget and super efficient. They work fast but also do everything to code. The work they did was quickly certified by ESA without an audit. They also do their own disconnect, which made the job faster. Thei prices are well within the quotes I got from other contractors. Although they squeezed me in between two jobs and started the job 1.5 hours late: they managed to finish on time. They started at 2:30 pm and by 5 pm power was restored and the site was cleaned. Since they were squeezing me between two jobs, Jim kept me informed of their delays at the other job site, so I wasn't in the dark. It was nice to see a contractor care about my time. I had previously hired another contractor and Surge was 30$ more expensive and well worth it! Although they were extremely busy with commercial jobs at the time, Jim did everything he could to accommodate his schedule to take our job since we were in a desperate situation. All and all, I would hire Surge Elektrical anytime again!
