I did not have the time to go in to the store and purchase two new Kohler toilets. I decided to call and speak with a sales rep who was very responsive and helpful. He took down what I was looking for and called me back within hours with a quote that seemed acceptable. I called him back the next day to say I wanted to purchase them and asked if they could be ready in two days to be picked up by our contractor. He said it usually takes five days but would see what he could do. Once again he called back in hours to let me know he could have them for pick up in 2 days. Our contractor picked them up with no hassles at all. As well, when it came to paying for the price he quoted me on - he realized he had made a mistake and readjusted the price saving me a significant amount on the total. We were very happy with Gabriel who was our sales person and would recommend Taps and him.

Booked Splash to clean my windows and eaves. They were very accomodating with dates and times - other places called would only give a possible week that they would be able to fit us in. Did a great job and no mess was left behind. Only sign that they had been there was the yard waste bag and a SplashWC sign on the lawn. Will call again.

We had a number of quotes and went with Mega City and made the right decision. Tom and Chantal were both excellent. We were not home during the day but a neighbour commented on the work that they did and it was very favourable. Work was done in the spring and everything seems good. We felt we could trust Tom which is unusual but he did not let us down. Clean up was excellent - another neighbour who we share the drive with also made this comment. Tom and his team delivered and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Customer service with this company is number one.

A review for Deck & Dock

Searched the city for patio furniture at a decent price that was sturdy and nice. Found a wide selection at Deck & Dock and a salesperson (Lindsay) who was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. We had fallen in love with a set at another store but the price tag would have required us to take out a second mortgage - at Deck & Dock we bought the same set at a fraction of the price. Only problem...they did not realize they did not have a set of 6 chairs in stock so we now are waiting for two more to arrive!

Recently bought a large ticket furniture item (Baronet line) that was damaged when it arrived about two weeks late. Trying to reach anyone in Customer Service or have them call back is virtually impossible. You need to keep calling and calling to have your issue dealt with. Although Customer Service individuals are very pleasant their story kept changing with each conversation. Still no resolution to my problem. I have bought a number of items from UpCountry in the past but will be taking my business elsewhere - it is not cheap and I would expect more from them. I too have been fed the line that it is the manufacturer that is slow and causing the problem as well - come on UpCountry...at least call back when you get a message instead of making me call you 10 times in one week until I finally reach someone live to get the same story as others!

Were referred to a couple of companies and visited the Pollard Toronto showroom. We dealt with Mark and were very happy. He took his time to explain all the different options and provided us with a competitive price from the get go. We were having a difficult time deciding on type of window to select and colour and Mark provide great advice and even went out of his way to come to our house to have a look for himself. We are not used to this type of service when you are not doing a large job and it was very much appreciated. The windows were about one week later then date provided but was not an inconvenience. The installer that came was very professional, polite and cleaned up after the job was done. Without a doubt we would recommend Pollard and will be back again to deal with Mark.

Great selection with different styles and mediums. Bought a large painting for our home and a piece for the office as well. We recently had Superbuilt Shutters quote us on custom made wood California Shutters for our living room bay window, master bedroom window and four small windows set in to the wall in the basement. Eric came to our house to provide us with a quote. He measured up each window and before leaving our house had a quote for us. Other companies said there was no way for california shutters to be installed in our basement windows but Eric described how he could install them with magnets and how it could work. His price beat any of the competitors by a long way. Being custom made we also had the option to have them custom painted to match our trim colour. Eric was very professional to deal with and made him self available for measuring and installation around our scheduled which meant he was at our house a couple of times in the morning on weekends. This was such a positive experience for us the shutters have made a big difference that he has already been back again to do more windows and is about to come back again to do a third job for us. Highly recommend having them give you a quote. We have recommended him to friends that have also been very satisfied.
