Window/sky light cleaning
A review for White Shark Window Cleaning
Dissatisfied with my current cleaner, I called White Shark, who do a lot of business in the neighbourhood. Service was prompt, attentiveness to detail consistent and the overall result excellent. And they cared enough to do a follow up phone call on their performance.

A review for Pinnacle Marble and Tile
These gentlemen know all about the properties of different types of natural stone. With that expertise, comes fastidious craftsmanship and pride in their work. In the process of doing the marble shower repair, they identified incorrect initial installation, and got rid of the water buildup under the tiles. In particular, I appreaciated the fact when my "a few hours" job turned out to be a "day and half job" they made time for me in their schedule.

A review for Civic Atlantic Electric Ltd.
The job involved removal of pot lights, fishing for electrical cabling through wall and ceiling drywall and installing fluorescents. What was potentially a very messy job was done with accuracy, care and minimal damage. Note that this company came with a strong positive recommendation from Powertrade Electric who deal with all variety of electricians.

A review for A & B Lech Okolotowicz Design & General Contracting
The only thing between GC questionable on site practice, agitated neighbours and very rigourous [that is a good thing] city inspectors was Lech. A godsend who saved us money and aggravation.

A review for Biltmore Domicile
When the sofa/chairs needed a refresher, I went back to Biltmore for restuffing of cushions and slipcovers. Their workmanship is excellent, their pricing at the high end and you had better be prepared to do the measuring, selection yourself. The kicker is that you REALLY have to be prepared to tough it out: getting the finished goods back is a trial. The good news is that it was worth the wait.
Company Response:
thanks Carla
Carpet Cleaning
A review for Babayan's
They have been taking care of my Persian rugs for 20 years and they are like new. Excellent repair work on fringes, which are the first things to go. Excellent savings for current and new clients. And unlike other suppliers who charge based on how they value the rug, they have a flat rate based on sqare footage.

A review for LSD Lighting
They met the very challenging job of installing lighting fixtures in a very high, deep stairwall [over installed artwork]. They were also consulted on solutions to difficult studio and loft lighting problems and provided well thought options.

A review for The Door Studio by RJ Consulting
We ordered a custom glass and steel door from Germany. The requirement: metal and glass had to align PERFECTLY with the windows. And I mean to the mm. Although the ship/container went missing for a while, the end result was perfection. The product is expensive, but worth every dime.

A review for Shady Lane Expert Tree Care Inc
After thousands of dollars, consults with "alleged" arborists, I was desperate to save three Japanese maples that were seriously deteriorating. Shady Tree WAS THE ONLY ONE to take soil and leaf samples, send them for analysis and recommend remedial action. Sorry to say all three died. They are now searching for native replacements and will do the removal/replacement next week. More to come.

A review for Palmer Brothers Heating & AC
We thought the pilot light was out in the furnace. . .a straighforward repair. The verdict from the initial visit: a new furnace would be required. The repairman - Mike - refused to "be beat by a lousy furnace". He consulted on his own time with his peers, came back at the crack of dawn the next day, took the furnace apart and lo and behold it worked! Certainly above and beyond the call of duty. Outstanding dedication.
