A review for Big Al's Aquarium Services Warehouse Outlets

Quite a big store, they have now expanded to carry dog food and treats. They have some unique fish in stock and I find the prices to be a little on the high side. They do have sales once in a while though and I suggest waiting for these if you're not in a hurry to buy anything. They use a self serve system where you fill out what you want on a clipboard before bringing it to a staff member. They can be quite hard to track down as there only seems to be one person working at a time and they are usually helping another customer or tank maintenance.

After some bad experiences with other carpet cleaners, I was hesitant to find someone else to do the job but after some research, I found this company had good reviews. Very professional and great. They got out a stain in my carpet that has been there a while! Would definitely recommend!

My lab required a special order of a certain type of worm. This is one of the few aquariums that took orders. The service was fast and communication was good. The worms arrived in good condition and had to pick up in store. The people working there were friendly.

A lot of fabrics to chose from. The prices can be a little high - make sure to go during the "off season" for different types of fabrics (ie. get fleece in the summer when it's not in high demand). The staff can sometimes be a little hard to track down because there aren't that many around and they need to help you cut the fabrics. Some parts of the store are a little messy.

A small aquarium store, their staff is reasonably knowledgeable about the specific things I need. I require special food and equipment for my work lab and I often visit J&L to purchase items. The items are decently priced - bigger box type stores will have cheaper prices. Their website lists the products they carry in store, which makes it very convenient to check if they have the items I need before I make the trip to the store.
