A review for Andy's Appliance & Refrigeration

I inherited my refrigerator when I moved into my home 5 years ago. For the first couple of years, I had no issues with it. In the last couple of weeks though, I noticed that the refrigerator didn't seem to be as cold as it used to be and the motor seemed louder than usual so I called Andy's Appliance and Refrigeration to come and take a look at it. They gave me an estimate of how much it would be to repair it and were very honest in comparing the cost to repair versus the cost to replace.

I wanted to remove the cheap wire shelving from my bedroom closet and build some custom shelves to maximize the use of the space. I gave them my budget and showed me samples of what they thought might work for me. Once we finalized a design, they arrived for the install which took about 4 hours. I was very pleased with the results.

I ordered a couple of window screens and a patio door screen and told them my budget was $500. I had previously had screens installed but i had a couple of tears and needed some replacements. They came in and measured the windows and patio door and were able to find screens for me that matched the color of my window frames exactly. The installer came back three days later and completed the install. Overall, i was very happy with the price and screens.

Salesperson seemed honest and knowledgeable in store showroom. Delivery and installation was a different story. Installer seemed very inexperienced and ended up cracking one of my shower tiles when drilling to install the door. When i called to complain, they denied any wrongdoing. I will never shop here again.

I lost a couple of buttons on my daughter's jacket in the wash. I searched online to find the same buttons but had some difficulty locating a store in BC. I decided to give dressew a try. They have EVERYTHING at this store and they also carried the exact same buttons. The store is a bit chaotic, but that's because they carry a wide selection of products. The only thing that bothered me was their cash only policy.

I was looking for some suedette fabrics to make my own curtains and matching throw pillows and a friend recommended that i try fabricana. Their selection was a bit overwhelming but i found a sales associate who was able to give some direction. She helped me pick out fabric and accessories that i would need for the project. I haven't started working on it yet, but overall i was quite pleased with my experience at this store.

A review for Mr Hammer Handy Man

Had my shower door installed and the installer had left a crack in my tile and refused to repair it. Fortunately, i was able to find a tile that matched my existing tiles. Mr Hammer did an excellent job of removing the cracked tile and installing the replacement tile. He even made sure that the grout he used would blend in with the existing grout.

I wanted to get some major cleaning done before the summer season in anticipation of summer parties that would be coming up. I gave the cleaners a list of chores and they finished all of them in the allotted time. It's not as good a job as i would have done had i cleaned the house myself but they probably saved me from several days of house cleaning. Staff were very professional and trustworthy.

I had been having some issues with rodents in my home for a couple of weeks. There were mouse droppings all over my carpet. Abell Pest Control were very professional and were able to rid my home of the mice and recommend a very good company to remove the stains from my carpet. Thanks Abell!
