A review for Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning

I always research companies on Homestars but unfortunately did not do that this time when my furnace stopped working. I found Service experts online as they service Lennox furnaces. The customer service for this company is atrocious. When the technician finally arrived to diagnose the problem he was on the phone with his office trying to figure out how to diagnose it and was told over speaker phone that he was using the wrong tool and had the right tool on the wrong setting. He was also told to follow the directions. He then told me that he was going to do it "his way". This does not give a customer a very confident feeling in the technicians ability. He then left the furnace in pieces on the basement floor as he had to have the part ordered and return the following day. When I contacted the company about when they would return as I had no heat, I was put on hold for 25 minutes and then cut off or hung up on. The furnace was eventually fixed the next day and the technician was 2 hours late. The furnace now makes a humming noise and the technician stated I needed the control board replaced. The furnace is 2.5 years old. I have spoken to 2 people regarding this company and neither had positive things to say regarding this companies customer service or technicians. I have used Homestars on four separate occasions when hiring contractors and have always been happy with the people I've hired based on their ratings. Service Experts have a mediocre rating and I now know why from my own experience. There are many HVAC companies out there and many with exceptional ratings. Next time I will choose one of them. I learned the hard way.

I contacted Paul after reading his reviews on Homestars. Paul quoted me a job for installing 8 interior doors. He was knowledgeable, meticulous and arrived when he said he would and completed the job in the time he had stated. Paul's work is excellent and he works as a true professional. I would not hesitate to contact Paul again for any work I may need done in the future.

I wanted to have crown moulding installed in my house and went to Homestars to find someone reputable to complete the job. The first person I called was Richard. He responded immediately and was out right away to give me a quote. Richard and Paul arrived as scheduled and completed the job quickly and meticulously. I am extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Artisan Bathrooms and Kitchens after reading the many good reviews on Homestars. I was not disappointed. Bob was professional, extremely helpful with design ideas and took the time to meet with me to pick out tiles, fixtures and counter top selections. Bob was never more than a phone call away when I needed advice on design questions. I would highly recommend Artisan for any renovation and I will not hesitate to use them again for a renovation of my kitchen in the future. Thank you Bill and Bob for your professionalism, expertise and attention to detail. I love my new bathroom.

I contacted several roofing companies after after I discovered a leak in my bedroom ceiling. Norris Roofing answered my call immediately and Rob showed up the same day and found the problem. He recommended several solutions to the problem but ultimately I decided to have the whole roof redone. Rob was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in giving me ideas on how to repair my roof as easily as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob and his "guys" for any roofing job. They are there when they say they will be, they are professional, knowledgeable and they clean up like it was their own house. Great company.
