I was surprised to find that the downtown lumber store had such a wide selection of bathroom and kitchen faucets and the staff there helped me choose one that would work with my existing vanity and was easy enough for me to install myself. The prices are more expensive than I have seen elsewhere but you can't beat the convenience and the service.

Paint Colours Unlimited had Benjamin Moore paints and even helped to suggest the appropriate paints for the rooms I was doing in my condo and the required amounts based on the space I was covering and the shade I wanted.

I contracted Oakridge Woodworking for a reno of my kitchen cupboards. They took my existing cupboard doors and made new doors in the colour I chose including hardware in 4 weeks. They also helped to reconfigure my kitchen cupboard drawers and built me new drawers.
