I purchased my furnace and air conditioner in my previous home a number of years ago. The service was great and the price was very competitive. Marni was terrific in helping me select the right products as well. Then years later when I moved from Toronto to Whitby, I had Marni help me select a new furnace, air conditioner and tankless water heater. And now today I needed some service. That's when you really know if you have made the right choice. Even though I have had the units for almost 13 years now and the warranty is long expired, they had a fellow here within hours. He was efficient, knowledgeable and had the small leak in my tankless water heater fixed in no time. And the price was right as well - $134.47. When I want a new furnace, air conditioner or tankless water heater, these are definitely the folks I will be dealing with. I have recommended them to family and friends. They are a family business and have been around since 1967. I am certain their longevity is a result of their great service. I was reminded of this today and felt compelled to write a good review.

I purchased my tankless water heater along with a furnace and air conditioner from Convertible in 2010. This is the second house I purchased these units from Convertible. Over the years, I have had them come in for yearly cleanings and such but the other day my tankless began to leak. I called in a panic. Raj came out the very next day even though he was extremely busy but unfortunatley he didn't have the O-ring in his truck. In spite of having the following day fully booked, he made a point to get to my house at 8:30 pm to repair the unit. He texted during the day with the heads up that he had the part and then another text to say he was running late. So after a full day's work with overtime and all, he came to make sure I had hot water. I am so impressed. I will continue to recommend these folks. They provide great service and products at the outset and follow up with terrific service after the sale is complete. I am so glad I chose this family business to do business with.

Mike returned my initial call promptly and attended the same day to give me a quote. I was happy with the price and description of services. The work was completed in a short period of time and I am absolutely delighted with the result. Everyone was friendly, the work was done exactly when I was advised it would be and I cannot say enough about the result. I would definitely recommend this company. UPDATE The best way to know if a company is great is to have a problem. Unfortunately, I had weeds coming up through the asphalt on my new driveway within the month. Today a fellow came out and remedied the situation and pointed out that the neighbour beside me had a virtual jungle on the other side of the fence. These weeds were actually coming up under the driveway. I will remedy that situation and thankfully all of the weeds are gone now and the fellow repaired the driveway to it's pristine original new condition. I am happy once again. :) Unfortunately, a month later and I have trees growing out of my driveway. I have sprayed them with round up and tried to squash them down but more keep coming through. I have called to ask for a repair and the response was quite curt and I was told I would be put on the list for repairs. That was a week ago and no response yet. Not sure I am such a happy customer at this point. The best opportunity to impress a customer is when something goes wrong. I’m not impressed with trees growing out of my driveway only a month after having the asphalt laid. These are only two of the pictures after I snapped off the stems.

I called several people regarding my basement which was flooded. Very few people responded within a week but Zeggy answered his phone immediately. He carries it with him everywhere, making him very accessible in an emergency. Zeggy was the only one who took me outside and explained the problems I had with drainage and other issues. We reviewed methods to remedy the situation and within days his crew arrived. Raphel, Lucas and then Grecun as well (not sure of the spelling) worked incredibly hard to do all of the digging by hand without any machinery to avoid jostling my field stone basement wall. Weeping tiles and a sump pump were installed as well as outside excavation and water proofing the leaking wall. I am very happy with the prompt service and I now have a dry basement. Even better, when I did have a bit of a problem after the job was complete, Zeggy came right over and fixed it - no waiting, no charge. Zeggy is knowledgeable and I felt very confident in relying on his judgement. His crews were extremely polite and cleaned everything up afterwards. His price was very fair as well. I have already recommended Zeggy to a friend and will in the future as well.

Everything had to be redone. A plumber had to re-do the plumbing, the ductwork had to be re-done - froze all winter - the roof had to be salvaged by roofing company and will have to be replaced, the grout has all cracked, pipes froze, floor built over old floor around dishwasher which now cannot be removed and I could go on and on. I have had to pay others to repair all of his work. Beware, he requests pretty much all of the money up front "so he can pay his workers". If you google his name, you will see others have had similar problems. Fast talker and terrible workmanship and extremely expensive. And worst of all you end up paying double because someone else has to salvage the work.

I have purchased a furnace and air conditioner from this company twice for two different residences. The second time I also purchased the tankless water heater as well which I love. The owner's daughter Marty is amazing. She knows everything about the business, can answer all of your questions knowledgeably and is a real no nonsense young woman. The work was done quickly and proficiently. The products recommended have performed perfectly for my homes. I now need some duct work done and did not hesitate to call them to have the work done. signed - a really happy customer ;)
