We needed floating shelves for the walls around the fireplace in the basement and Rundell did a great job building and installing the shelves despite having to deal with alcoves that were not perfectly even and square. Communication was good and the process was managed efficiently. The job looks very good.
Fabulous job despite tight access
We needed leaf guards as the big trees around the house kept filling up our eavestroughs. However, access is tight on the sides of the house and some contractors required that i rent a boom to get the job done. With ingenuity and skills, the guys from Richview managed to do the job perfectly without a boom.

Just like I told you before you hired us to do the job if anybody can do it without a boom then it would be us. The sides of the house were not ladder accessible so we had to do one side of the roof which is very steep and the other side we had to bring the ladder onto the neighbours roof which is also steep, and we had to manually customize our ladder setups in order for the ladder not to kick out. Definitely your house it's in the top 10 hardest jobs we did due to inaccessibility. Thank you for leaving us with a review. Enjoy the summer!

Hardest working trade seen in a long time
Our glass shower door had started rubbing against the frame a few days before. We thought the door had been cut too large and we needed to replace it but City Glazing took the door apart, adjusted the hinges and reinstalled the door, as the original installation was not done properly. As a result, our shower door now works perfectly. These guys are truly great.
Great pruning job at a fair price
Our old tree needed a face lift. We called a few firms for a quote and Riley proved to be the most responsive, diligent and fair in his assessment of the work and the cost. His crew showed up a few days later, as agreed, and did a wonderful job removing a few large branches close to the wires and the roof line. we are very happy with the result.

New Eavestroughs, Fascia and Soffit
Until now i had never given a perfect score on Homestars but this guy fully deserves it. i originally approached three contractors and Petar was the first one to respond and to provide a quote; he was friendly, listened to my needs and clearly explained what he would do and how he would do it. More importantly, the job looks great and they kept my place clean.

Great Work - after talking to several contractors who provided exorbitant quotes or never bothered gettting back to us with a quote, we found Mike. He got us a quote in a day, clearly explained the work he would do for us and his price was very reasonable. More importantly, he seemed very conscientious and our sidewalk looks great.
THIS TRADE IS NOT RELIABLE - We hired them to paint our house after extensive renovations. They painted all the walls and most of the trims but since we also had many trades in the house at the same time, the painter and I agreed that he would come back once the trades are out to finish the trims and do touch-ups. However, we broke the #1 rule in the construction business and made the mistake of paying him even though the work was not completed as he knew a good friend of ours. As a result, we have been chasing him for more than a month and he is not even responding to our numerous voicemails and emails.
We hired Gilbert to install a glass shower in our new bathroom as well as a glass railing. His quote was very competitive and although it took a few weeks to get the finished products, the quality of his work was exceptional.

Lighting Plan and Advice on HVAC and Floor Plans
We first hired Lieux to create a lighting plan for our main floor and a high-level concept for our kitchen. The plans produced by Robert and Nathalie were excellent and captured very well what we had in mind. Because the first set of HVAC drawings provided by our general contractor were a disaster, we also ended up hiring Robert to clean up the HVAC plans and to propose solutions to hide the numerous bulkheads originally proposed. Once again, his insight was incredibly useful and thanks to him we have no bulkhead in our house.
STAY AWAY! They came to our place to measure our space and ultimately recommended a specific model of gas fireplace. We made a deposit but found out after that the model did not fit. When we asked for our money back, they claimed that a 50% restocking fee applied even though nothing was delivered and not fee was mentioned on the invoice.
