After some research online, we chose to purchase and have Summerwood install a new 14' X 20' garage. The Summerwood online design tool was handy; we could customize our garage, specify finishes, doors, etc. We also wanted to have some attic storage and Summerwood was able to successfully accommodate this request. We were impressed with its construction as well as the crew from Summerwood (lead by Nick), who installed it. We are thrilled with our garage - great value for our money - and have recommended Summerwood to our neighbours.

I contacted several companies on Homestars looking for a quote to install eaves and downspout on our new garage. I received several quotes, however opted to go with VCS Aluminum. Vitaliy's pricing was reasonable (not the cheapest quote, but certainly not the most expensive), he took the time to explain things and was the only company that saw no issue with connecting our eaves the way we wanted them to (one single downspout into a rain barrel, instead of two separate downspouts). The end result was neat, well secured and exactly what we were looking for. I even waited to post a review until I had a chance to see how the eaves and downspout performed in the rain. It worked great ! I would definitely recommend VCS Aluminum.

I contacted Rene after reviewing the Homestars website to quote on plastering our bathroom, with also some minor repairs to our hallway and dining room ceilings. His price was reasonable (I didn't gather any other quotes) and Rene was able to start right away. He was everything that other reviews had mentioned about being punctual, honest, detailed and cleaning his work area at the end of each visit. I would highly recommend Rene for any plaster/painting work you need to have done in your home. Thanks again Rene !
