Our picture window in the family room seemed to have sprung an “air leak” & moisture was literally clouding the view. When my husband & I spoke to Mike at the Avenue Rd office he told us if it wasn’t leaking water there is no hurry to replace the glass but he would send someone out to look. How honest is that!!! The men showed up before their scheduled time, hooray, & took all sorts of measurements, the next day we were given a price which was lower than 2 other quotes. We ordered the glass & within 2 weeks it was delivered & installed. The installers again showed up early and did a very professional job & cleaned up both outside & inside the house!!!! What more can we ask for right??? Thank you Ely’s Glass, you came highly recommended and we shall pass on the same.

Smith Metal Works was recommended to me by a friend & I am so glad. I was unsure of what I wanted & Tarek was quick to show me various designs without being pushy. Since all work is done in his shop he could custom make anything. He always came when he said he would which is some feat given that I live in an area of Toronto with constant construction. The railing was measured perfectly & when it was installed it was done with precision & then they cleaned the area. This was outside too so clean up was not all that necessary. They examined the railing carefully & had a small paintbrush to touch up very minor patches including the screws holding the railing on the ground. If you use Smith Metal you will not be disappointed, I am thrilled!!!!

A little while ago we renovated 2 of our bathrooms. Our contractor recommended Central Glass & Mirror to install the glass doors on the bath/showers. They were very professional & on time. One of the doors did not fit exactly which the installer knew instantly. We were quite impressed that we did not have to say anything. He promptly took the door away & brought it back in a few days. I would highly recommend this company. BTW we are very glad we paid extra & got glass doors, so much nicer than shower curtains.

We had our kitchen re-done a little while ago & our contractor recommended k.c. granite & marble. I went to their warehouse & was treated very well. The sales person told me what I really like & would have been much more expensive would not be suitable for my purposes. Can you imagine someone talking a customer out of something very expensive? I told my contractor & even though he agreed with the salesperson he was most impressed by their honesty. They measured my counter tops, delivered on the day they said they would come & then gave me all sorts of tips on how to care for the granite. I am very glad I went with this company & highly recommend them.

We have been using this family run company since we moved into our house 26 years ago. Their service has always been 5 star but I must say that during the blackout following the ice storm they went to 10 stars!!! The short version of our long story is that I phoned them to see what we should do about our system. Jason, a 2nd generation Ketteringham, told us should drain our hot water gas system so rads etc won't freeze. We are far from a mechanical family but Jason kept calling us every 1/2 hour or so to make sure the procedure was coming along. It was taking a much longer time than he thought so Troy, one of their wonderful specialists came by to make sure all was going well. Initially Jason did not wish us to pay for the service if we didn't have to & tried to do it all by phone, but I was getting very nervous about this procedure. Troy did not take a cent at the time, Ketteringham just wanted people to get up & running & worry about payment later. We just received our invoice & they greatly reduced the charge. Can you imagine? I have heard of people gorging folks that were in distress during this time & this fabulous business was taking a cut to provide for those of us who were stressed & in need. If you have a furnace system that they can service you MUST use these passionate, knowledgeable, wonderful folks

It has been 2 years since Selba Industries has done our kitchen & we have had no complaints. When the kitchen was settling, we re-configured the area, they came a few times to tweek the cabinets which really weren`t part of the contract. The staff was professionally, creative, clean & honest. We would highly recommend them.

We found Rick Lopez and his wonderful team doing work in our neighbourhood. Rick immediately came over to our house, gave us ideas & the rest went better than that. Rick & his men are honest, clean, creative and finish the job on time--well there is the weather element to consider when doing an outside job. We could not have asked for a better team to do this work. Gr8cr8tions is the company YOU MUST employ!!!!

I would like to add to our review about the quality of work & material that Skylights Unlimited used. After that brutal winter which we had last year, we were very concerned about our skylights especially one that is on a flat roof. That roof was solid ice & snow for a very long time. I am so pleased to say that our skylights did not leak nor did we have any problems whatsoever with our windows. We know people who had endless problems. I wish to thank the team at Skylights Unlimited for installing such a great product & doing an excellent job.

Designer Brenda came to our house, gave us fabulous suggestions. She & her installer worked very hard work to around the obstacles in our old house. When the seasons changed & the doors needed tweeking a very clever gentleman came & not only fixed the problem but showed us how to work the hinges if it occurred again. Efficient, clean, excellent work & design & very polite & respective folks.

Ketteringham is an amazing company. They clean our furnace every year. When we did some renovations they also replaced & re-installed a couple radiators. They are efficient, polite, professional, clean & come whatever time of day an emergency may happen.
