Right from the start, Toronto Roof Repairs was a class act. They arrived promptly at the agreed time for the estimate, actually phoned ahead to let me know they were on their way and out of the four quotes I received to replace the shingles on both my house and my garden shed, they were the only ones to actually get up on my roof and inspect it! Not only that, but they took pictures of the damaged areas and included them in their estimate. They took the time to explain to me where the damaged spots were and what they were going to do to repair them. When I received the written estimate and noticed a slight change was needed, a quick message to Leon was all it took to correct it. Once I notified them that I wished to hire them, it was a quick matter of an Interac e-transfer of the deposit and Leon had my job scheduled for the upcoming week. Joe and Stas arrived promptly at 7:30am, along with Leon who made sure we were all ready to go. Joe and Stas worked steadily until 8:30pm that evening, were back again the following morning at 7:30am and worked steadily until the job was finished around 5pm. They were careful, methodical and thorough and I am thrilled with my new roofs, both on my house and on my shed. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards, too, and I think they left my yard and driveway cleaner than before they arrived! LOL I would highly recommend Toronto Roof Repairs Inc.

I hired Les and his team from The Home Improvement Group to replace my walk-in shower with a whirlpool bathtub and I am thrilled with their work. Phillip and Manuel did most of the demolition and construction and they did a terrific job. They arrived promptly each and every day and worked tirelessly until the job was done. They carefully taped down protective paper to cover my floors between the front door and the bathroom and protected the vanity and other fixtures in the bathroom with plastic sheeting. At the end of each day, they were careful to clean up the work area and they also took the time to show me their work and explain what they did and what issues they were running up against. I really appreciated this on-going discussion as it allowed us to quickly resolve the few minor issues we did encounter. John the plumber and John the electrician were also great to work with and did great jobs. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Les and his team. They were pleasant, prompt and professional, they do great work and I highly recommend them.

I had squirrels in my attic and was actually referred to Gates by another pest control company. I am totally impressed by them! From start to finish, they are a shining example of the way a business should work. First, when I called to make an appointment there was no waiting and they told me upfront that the minimum charge was $395 to have a technician come out, but that the estimate was free. Second, they have specific appointment times -- no "between 10am and 2pm" stuff -- and they are punctual!! Boris was my technician and he actually showed up about 10 minutes early. He was pleasant, courteous, professional and thorough and instantly made me feel confident that my squirrel problem would be solved. He discovered the point of entry then wrote up an estimate for me for securing it as well as an additional estimate for also securing other potential problem areas like the chimney and the sewer stack. That blew me away! He gave me a choice based on my budget, which I really appreciated. I decided to go for it all, and within an hour, Boris had secured the point of entry and all other potential problem areas. He explained to me how the squirrels initially got in through one of the roof vents, what he did to secure everything, and explained the one-way exit hatch he installed to ensure the squirrels could not get back in once they had left. He then explained that he would return in a few days to follow-up, remove the hatch if everything looked good and secure it permanently. He explained that no one needed to be there for this follow-up visit and he would leave a note to indicate the final results. Sure enough, a few days later I came home to find a note indicating that the squirrels were gone and the entry point was now permanently secured. Thank you, Boris, for a great job and to you, Brad for running a great company! I can't say enough about AAA Gates Wildlife Control and will happily recommend them. The fact that Brad truly cares enough to personally respond to each of these reviews speaks volumes.

I was completely impressed with Gus' promptness, friendly professionalism and attention to detail. He called to confirm our meeting and also called me to let me know he was going to be late, which I appreciated greatly. He arrived promptly when he said he would and listened attentively as I walked him around the backyard, explaining what I wanted. He took very careful measurements and made several excellent suggestions,which with my agreement, he incorporated into a very detailed and competitively priced quote. Ultimately, I went with another company more local to me, but I would highly recommend Gus and So Green to anyone contemplating a new outdoor space.

What an amazing adventure! Never having been through a major renovation before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I have to agree with some of the previous reviewers that Jeff instilled confidence right from the start by asking a lot of questions, not just about my house and what I wanted to achieve, but also about how I lived and how I envisioned using the new space. He is genuinely interested in creating a space that truly fits your life, not just one that you think you'll like. I had a pretty clear idea from the start of what I thought I wanted. I had done a lot of research beforehand on the Internet and magazines and had accumulated a collection of photos of samples of what I wanted. Well, the final result is nothing like I had originally envisioned. It's better -- WAY better! A close friend of mine, upon seeing it for the first time said, "It looks like what should have been here all along!" as it blends in so seamlessly with the rest of the house. Jeff made the entire project run so smoothly, the entire process seemed painless, even fun at times! He's got a great group of suppilers and trades and I loved being sent out on shopping trips to pick out fixtures, tile etc. He kept in regular contact with me throughout the project to advise me of the progress and what he needed me to do next. In an older home, a few "surprises" are inevitable and this renovation was no exception. But after advising and conferring with me, Jeff quickly and easily revised the plan and kept the project rolling along. Kris did most of the actual gutting and construction and he is simply amazing! His craftmanship is superb! And so tidy, too! The house was swept and cleaned at the end of each day. Very nice to come home to! All in all I have say I am thrilled with the results and will gladly recommend Jeff and company.
