Two years ago we renovated our basement and needed plans and drawings of the whole house for the permit application. Alex was very quick and efficient in getting the CAD drawings done. Once we had underpinned and demo'd a wall in the basement, I had a change of vision in the plans for the basement. Alex quickly revised the plan so we could get a revised permit with virtually no delay to the project. This spring we decided to redo the backyard and needed a digital copy of the plans - our landscaping contractor emailed Alex to ask for it and got a copy immediately. Alex sent his digital plans on short notice from a 2yr old job - this is excellent service in my opinion. I would not hesitate to hire Alex again for our next project.

We hired Reiner to help with a basement reno (demolition, excavation and underpinning, insulating and installing new), plumbing upgrades, attic insulation and A/C installation for our 1930s home. Reiner was a great source of advice and experience, with a book of contacts to get the job done right. He saved us considerable money (both explicitly by helping us find better deals and implicitly through advice on contract terms with our contractors) and time and made sure we had a better final product than we would have achieved had we tried to organize the reno ourselves. He also acted as a great go between between us and the trades, effortlessly handling difficult conversations. Budgets and timelines are tough to stick to on any job but Reiner worked with our goals and we would recommend him as a great resource for anyone undertaking a renovation.

I have used AnTa for a number of small plumbing jobs around my home. I have always found them to be responsive, efficient, affordable and a pleasure to work with.

Reasonable price. I hired Clean and Shiny for a post reno clean up of my very dusty house. They Did a good job for a day's work. They sent a two person team.

After a neighbour recommended North Shore I gave them a call to get a quote on a new covered eavestrough system (replacing the ancient one that was falling off the roof). It's an example of how in-demand these guys are that they told me they wouldn't service homes south of Eglinton anymore but I managed to get them to come take a look. Their attention to detail was superior to the competing quotes I got and they really seemed to have a good grasp of the water management that would be needed in different areas of the roof. The install and cleanup was great. The one reason for a non-perfect rating: the first quote on my house was contracted-out by them to another installer and his quote was quite high - but they straightened out the issue eventually. Try to talk to Darren when you call to make sure you're getting the right person on the job.
