A review for Sigma Electric Construction & Maintenance

We contracted Sigma to rewire our 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms and our 2nd floor bathroom. Piotr and Cas did a fabulous job! Conscientious and meticulous are the best words to describe them. They were able to run the new wiring up from the basement (which is fully finished) with a minimum number of holes -- they even found a way to make the holes as inconspicuous as possible. We are very pleased with the result, and have already hired Sigma for another electrical project. Thank-you, again.

I wanted to replace my bedroom window (with one that I could actually clean) and install a storm door on my basement walkout. I also wanted to replace a very old door leading to my second floor balcony. I called Visage and Dimitry was able to come out the next day. He recommended a sliding door for the second floor balcony. An excellent suggestion! Dimitry was able to work with my schedule to plan the installation, which was done in a single day. The installers were even able to salvage two century-old windows! We live in a 100+ year old semi, and needed new carpeting on our stairs. A visit to the showroom and a couple very informative conversations with George convinced us that Kingsway Carpets and Blinds was the right choice for us. We chose a beautiful textured wool and it was installed in a single day. This might not sound like such a lofty feat, but the staircases in our home are not straight runs, but have multiple landings. Add in the fact that nothing is level in this old house and you have a real installation challenge. Thanks to George's careful measurements (he came back to double check just before the binding was added to the runner) meant everything worked out perfectly. We are extremely pleased with the carpet, with the installation, and with our experience with Kingsway Carpet.

The house is a semi, so the chimney's shared. Plus the house is 100+ years old, with a pitched roof. No problem for Straight Up Masonry. After suffering through hot summers the last few years, we decided to have ductless air conditioning units installed in the bedrooms on the second and third floors of our 100+ year old house. We have radiant flooring in our kitchen and the pump needed replacement. I contacted Mica, based on the reviews in Homestars, and I am so glad I did. Mica's owner, Paul, provided excellent customer care, even before the installers showed up to replace the pump. Mica was able to fit my job into their schedule, and my kitchen floor is now nice and warm. Before leaving, the installers gave me great advice about changes I could do myself to improve the efficiency of my entire boiler and radiator system.
